Why is the AP from Corki's Q being hit as well?

Yeah sure Corki can be quite strong so they nerfed his Q, but what's the point of hitting the AP scaling? AP Corki is hardly viable currently, and the only AP item most people build on him is Gunblade, and all that nerf did was to reduce the +40 AP to +28 AP considering he built gunblade. So 12 less damage for corki but a shitton less for AP corki? :/

because riot hates champions having alternate builds

Are you sure it got hit? It doesn't say so in the official patch notes, though it was there on the PBE, unless they forgot to put it in the patch notes (which they do for a lot of things).

Doesn't he usually build Void Staff?

For all the people saying Corki was fine, he'd had a high winrate for quite a while, and, even before actual nerfs hit, Riot mentioned that they were considering nerfing him a couple of time, but pulled back because he was just a "sleeper"

He's pulling an Illaoi

This will hurt the strength of triforce slightly :(

Corki needed the nerfs. Whenever he's viable, he's an overbearing garbage champion. Thank goodness he got hit with the bat.
