okay, end last season Gold 2 on my smurf.... lose my first game of Placements for that account and I drop all the way to IRON 2? What the actual... ?
HOW can it be justified that you drop THREE WHOLE RANKS to the bottom tier for just ONE LOSS?
You haven't even finished placements and you are complaining where you get placed?
You get massivly increased LP gain for your placements, dont loose LP on loss and skip promos. Just play your placements first and then see where you land. Most likely not gold 2 but placing lower than your season end rank is normal, you have the whole season to rank back up.

Feels bad this Silver 3 on my first loss was only in Iron 1 LMAO Gold got hit harder than Silver players xD
Most low plat players got placed in Silver 1 or G4. I dunno why you're complaining. I had to climb back from S1 because I won only 2 placement games. I'm already Gold 3. If you're really "Gold" then you'll climb back in no time.
Trust me it wouldn't matter if you won your first game. Friends of mine have fallen 2+ ranks after winning their first placement.
