does it suck if your main jungler is an assassin ?

being the 3d to last pick sucks for assassin jungler mains . like imagine if you're the last pick you pre pick something like Khazix , support takes zyra top takes gp and then they be like '' jungler take tank we have no tank ''

There is a reason I have never bothered learning assassins.

The number of games I can justify picking one (or one being the best option) is extremely rare.

You should always stay flexible with roles to some extent Like I have a go to 'carry/damage' top, a tank top, a 'carry/damage' jungler, a tank jungler etc etc etc Of course maining one or two champions is fine but then again being 3rd to last pick is RNG

It doesn't matter what you play, if you do good with that champ, you'll win more often than not. Literally true until you're master/challenger lmao

well yes and no... as some of the others have commented picking your best champ is more likely going to do better for you when it comes to wining or losing then picking a champ you dont play.... however all things being equal ( which they never are) being able to pick champs that round out a team comp/synergize etc is best. so even though you main Khazix knowing and being good on Galio Amumu Warwick or any other type of jungler is ideal cuz maybe you need a tank is good at tanking ap damage? or a tank for engage and aoe damage ? or you need AP when you are a heavy AD comp or AD when team is all ap and so on... the more champs you can play and know the better off you will be
