It depends greatly on the type of player you are. Anyone that leans towards team-oriented play/mains support is going to have a hell of a time.

you dont climb the ladder by team oriented play unless you are in ranked 5's. you climb by carrying. simple as that. you obviously play more and more as a team the higher up you get but thats only because the higher up you get the more everyone knows what to do so everyone is on the same page because they all know what to do.

in low elo no one has ANY idea what to do so everyone is just guessing different things so the way to carry the chaos is to flat out hard carry yourself.

Iv explained this many times before. While it is true what you are saying. The time it takes may be beyond the time/patience level of the player.

In my last ranked match, I tabbed out briefly after selecting my champ (first pick) to look at some emails, came back and we had a Twisted Fate ADC... If I had won that match, didnt that TF was fucking terrible, Id have been in my series for Silver 3 again. Now maybe I wouldnt have won that match even if we had a different player as ADC with Cait/jinx, but dumb shit like TF ADC is what I have to put up with climbing through silver.

Some people feel like all the potato window-lickers they run into giving them free losses just isnt worth the trouble. I cant stand it when Im support and my lane is the only lane winning, and top/mid has died 4 times in 8 minutes. For others with less free time, they probably dont bother.

So to your statement "Anyone that plays well on average is going to climb it is simple fact." That "fact" is in fact... not simple. Climbing takes time, is incredibly frustrating, and feels pointless to try often.

Well I climbed from Silver 4 to Gold 5 in less than 100 games this season and then about 200 more games to get to plat so I'm pretty sure if you play well you will climb

This is true...Look my match history, every Ranked I'm try harding, sweating ball sacks to get a win. I play well, the good k/d/a's only tell half the story, I place/clear wards, never feed, defend objectives and all that other stuff.

But when you get a 3/10/2 Wukong who tries to 1v4 constantly or a Vlad that constantly goes all-in against an enemy he's already fed, it's just fucking pointless.

You put in so much effort to do well and you taste defeat by something you can't control in any way

I played Sej with premades and went from B5>S5 in no time with 70% winrate on her.

On my other account only for Solo play, I got a 44% winrate with the same play. On the other hand, I'm 58% win Yi. Kind of shows the difference.

Yes I agree it is. My other accounts are silver and falling cause I was only playing support so and I decided to play on this bronze account I had. I had no idea how bad these people are so that's why I was fucking around with the firecap build

I disagree, from my experience. I was Silver V, but once I started trying, I shot up to Gold V in around 25-30 games, but I've been stuck in Gold V for a while. Maybe I'm just bad, but that's my experience.

I've been losing now on purpose to get back into bronze 5 I almost got into bronze 2. this is how:

overstay in lane no health. retarded builds. tele/ignite support. chase enemies. go in 1v5 with no allies near. flame when you are 1-5 and blame everyone else. you have better luck winning the lotto then finding a sightstone.

also when I was playing zed top twice, I was building firecape on him and no one even said a thing. hell yesterday was hilarious. lobby wu kong support was bragging about being lvl 7. finishes 2-20. no support items. says to report me.
