New champs and the community

Is it just me or whenever a champ gets reworked or a brand new champion enters the game that the community just turns horrid? More toxicity, more bad plays and just more bad teammates. I'm not sure if it's just me or what, how does everyone else feel on this topic?

I think new content attracts back the more "casual" base that tends to rage more. Similar to when urf and such is up I find that ranked and normals are 100% better.

I don't know what to call them other than casual. Maybe there's s better term for them.

People just have problems adapting at first.
