But the thing is that reporting doesn't help anyone's situation.

It helps the people in your future games that have to deal with your behavior.

Think about how people get when they are already angry and a bit salty and then oh look my chat has been restricted....now I can't even communicate calm and orderly like Riot wants me to, now I only have 5 messages every so often.

How exactly was your behavior calm and orderly if it got you restricted? This is why I asked for your reform card. I seriously doubt it was anything of the sort. You can't abuse chat then get upset you lose the ability to use it in the manner it was intended for.

ESRB doesn't rate online games because they know it's not right to take these things away from them.

I don't think you understand what the rating is for. No rating does not mean there are no rules. I suggest reading over the Terms of Use and the Summoner's Code; you have agreed to these conditions many, many times. They are not unreasonable.

Hi, it actually has to do with everyone that click the 'report player' button. They are saying that this player is ruining this game for me, that this player is going to ruin the game for everyone else. How do they know that? If they are reporting you, it is because of your behaviour and yours alone. A player reporting you cannot get you suspended, only your behaviour gets you suspended. If someone reports you, it simply notifies riots system that the reported player may be a problem.

False reports have no impact, so if you were suspended it's because YOU were not adhering to the summoner's code. So putting the blame on other people is a complete cop-out and until you realize that you are the problem here you will never improve.

Here are a list of things that do not excuse toxic behaviour:

• Having a bad day
• Having bad teammates
• Responding to other player's toxicity
• Literally nothing. Nothing excuses toxic behaviour. It is never the correct answer, it is never the correct response, and it is never excusable.

The mute button is there so people do not have to be forced to continue listening to toxic players. The report button is there to let Riot know that these players should be removed from the game. It appears they made the correct decision when they permanently suspended your account, as you clearly do not get the message that Riot and fellow LoL players have been trying to send you.

Instead of questioning everything, try reading it, and understand it for yourself, We are telling you why the bans went through towards you, and you are just complaining more and more, why were you banned and not us? its your mindset, you challenge players with a reasonable response to you and yet you dont seem to understand that you were banned because of your behavior, i know you are upset, but maybe this will wake you up.

Well if report was valid and person got punished, then whatever they thought was wrong, was actually wrong. If someone breaks rules, you report him, its simple. If he didnt break rules he wont get punished, if he did break them in any way, he will get punished. Its not that "everyone is whiny". Everyone just got fed up with all the toxic crap coming from some players. You need to lose that mentality "only kids are snitches". Thats now how it works. This is huge community with rules. Everyone is presented those rules when making account, everyone has to accept them if they want to play. YOU accepted those rules. You accepted that you wont be toxic or negative in any way towards anyone for any reason. This is not your middle school where you prank someone and expect he wont tell of you so he wouldnt be called "kid" or "snitch". Grow up already and accept responsibility for your actions. If you sign a "contract" , you MUST abide by it. Or you will be removed.

Tell me this. You start working for a huge company, good salary, good hours, everything great. You are given contract. Now you notice in contract there is section for conflicts between colleagues. It says "If you for any reason get in conflict,argument, fight" with another colleague you will be disciplined and in some cases fired. If you are being harassed by colleague , you must inform manager/supervisor". Now few weeks after you started, colleague starts insulting you, harassing you, maybe even hits you. What will you do? Will you insult back, fight back and get fired. Or will you do things by the contract, talk to people in charge of that , keep job, and get rid of abusive colleague?

You ran into Riot police because you chose to be toxic, not because anything to do with the mute button, you approached the situation wrong ( literally just guessing you didnt try to help the players just yelled at them, no advice, no positive re-enforcement, just toxicity) and got reported, and it would have been alot of reports because one match where you get maybe like 3 is not ban worthy, constant poor behavior is ban worthy. good day sir.

The best way to avoid trouble is basically not typing anything. If they yell at you first, ignore them or better yet, YOU mute them. Trust me i've always had that one teammate yelling "report this guy and that guy" While everyone else in the team is just quiet. In the end we all end up reporting the guy yelling. Problem with these people is that they think they're right. Just ignore these types of people and you'll be fine. Unless you're one of these people.
