Champion Play Rate

Just wondering if there is a way to find these statistics or if anyone just knows, which would be a bit overboard, of all the champions in league, how many actually have, like, a play rate over say 20% or something of that nature in today's ranked play. All I know is, watching the LCS, its the same champs over and over and over. How this relates, is say, when you play a champ (such as or ) you get ridiculed and criticized for not playing the "meta". Personally, I think these two examples have great engage and two of the best ults in the game, but I constantly stray away due to the fact that these are "forgotten" champs.

How about you not give a shit about what others think is a meta and play who you want to, within reason.

Well, whats within reason? A champ with a 35% play rate or someone with a 15% play rate. Or who gives a fuck, galio flash ult for days?

When i say within reason, my meaning is that if you need, lets say an ADC for example, you dont go off and pick Annie.

You need a tanker that has sustain but you like to actually kill shit? put a morde in there and not give a shit if your team wants the meta sejuanni.

Its a game to have fun with, so have some fun while you play the game. Play who YOU want to play with your team, and not what is just socially "acceptable"

This is 100% why i play ARAM now. Because i dont give a crap and im going to play the game, and the champion for who it is.

Problem being with ranked players, is that everyone is WAY to "numerical". Just play your role with someone youre comfortable with and have some fun. being forced to play a certain champion because meta, totally removes the reasoning there is champion select.

I appreciate your input, the only thing i will say is that, usually when you pick a champ against the "meta", if you don't go 15-0, say you go 2-3-8, it comes with ridicule. "Your team fight blows" or "you have no escape" or "your speed always gets you caught". Basically what I am saying is that trying to have fun with champs that aren't usual picks comes with constant bashing which instantly takes the fun out of it. So, in terms of the topic I asked about, I am trying to see play rates so maybe I can pick some champs that I enjoy that are seen here or there are the ranked scene. But, based on the website provided by Zeroooo, the diversity just isn't out there.

you completely miss his point he said if you dont perform exceptionally then you get ridiculed. and you cant win every game, so you are bound to perform bad in some games and teammates blame your pick. anyways even then I would pick whatever I want, let them think my pick is bad.

I really want to do what you say, its just the fear of having a bad atmosphere right from the get go even before the game starts which would just lead to a higher possibility of losing. I guess out of the dozens of champs, you gotta learn the select few. So ARAM, here I come

Dont fear it, take it to the face! EXPECT a bad time, and make it good. i know for a fact that nerds are assholes across a keyboard, because you know, their internet dick is biggerest. then i prove them wrong when you just let me whip this out, and poof, silence of the nerds newest movie. dont take it so seriously and jsut keep on movin forward. (dont get me wrong, some of theirs WAS biggerest, and i promptly took it all)

I had to deal with this shit playing WoW ranked professionally, and i didnt expect anything different with LoL, i dont think you should either.

Kinda why i "miss spell" ELO with EGO, because they go hand in hand.

Edit: What i said is not a akurat since one champion can be play at different roles so there is Morgana Support with 14,55% and Morgana mid with 3,13%.

PLAY RATE SHOULD BE MORE SERIOUS . depends how much fun is the champion and satsfining to play with and not just win champions like Gragas Ivern Urgot Malphite Rammus TahmKench Sejuani Udyr Volibear Zac are boring disgusting but high win rate to play with and play safe. I dont respect anyone who plays those champions for counter pick and just to win a game cause of high stats scaling teamfights in mid game. thats my opinion and i hope riot maybe rework them again and make them more satisfining and dont just play jungle and top lane but make them viable and balanced for support playstyle. Annie like easy pick annie top mid support but not like Garen top only.
