This is a quote I hear all the time to low elo players. It must be me, but its the stupidest thing ive heard. So I decided to gank team mates (from my top lane) so they can carry and what not. So im ahead in my lane, 2/0/0 7 minutes in game, my lane is pushed, Riven is dead, I go to gank. I get the ADC 2 kills, and i tp back into my lane. I kept ganking mid afterwards thinking bot was ok, got 0 kills due to twisted fate getting caught by Kha everytime I was heading there, Twitch was dying non stop, and it was basically gg.

Fast Forward to 20 minutes, Riven is 1/4/0 (useless) with 63 cs, Annie is 10/2/4, jinx 0/3/4, and on my team, Twisted Fate 1/4/3 86 cs, Twitch 2/7/0 64 cs, Nid 3/4/1 42 cs, Ali 0/4/4, Jayce (Me) 142 cs, 4/4/3.

Thus my ganking was utterly useless, I lost CS ganking, I lost possible kills from Riven ganking, and most importantly I lost EXP for ganking. I have no clue why people say "Get used to being carried in Low Elo", when nobody in low elo even know how to carry. Next game just gonna sit top, farm hella ton of CS, and kill my laner a bunch. Ill update this forum with which was better. Because apparently im not supposed to carry lol.

Unfortunately it isn't just low elo players that think this way. I've been messing around on my P1 smurf lately to try out new builds and I get told constantly that it is my fault if a lane loses, even if I am 4-0 myself.

The best thing you can do is mute your team mates if they are trying to micromanage your gameplay and just do what you know is best for your game. If you get far enough ahead you'll carry. Getting someone that is 0-4 2 kills so they are 2-4 isn't going to help your cause 9 out of 10 times since they obviously have been lacking the skill up to that point to do anything by themselves. If you get your bottom lane 2 kills then all you are doing is setting them up for failure because now they will feel more confident and get themselves killed even more.

If you are going to gank, don't prioritize losing lanes. Look for lanes that are already doing well and gank for those lanes. It is better to push a neutral lane to a winning lane or a winning lane to a stomp lane than to push a losing lane to an almost neutral lane.

Never gank for people who are non-participatory factors. A poor skilled teammate fed, is just going to do no damage and feed spree gold.

I really like this quote from Cellybeary.

"A jungler aims to help laners help themselves. If a lane can't help themselves, don't help them."

I know you're not a jungler, but the second part is still relatable.
