Telling The Truth Gets You Banned In League

Scenario 1: Imagine this, you have a bot lane Miss Fortune who keeps dying to a Master Yi gank from behind. She dies to this 3 times, so you finally step in. You say

Jayce "MF, quit pushing lane so far, youre dying to the same gank over and over." 1 minute later... MasterYi An ally has been slain MissFortune Jayce "MF please listen..." MissFortune "/all Everyone report Jayce please, hes being very toxic to us."

Scenario 2: The enemy team keeps teaming up to push bot, but your bot team is roaming, kha your jungler is farming enemy jungle, and Galio is trying to defend mid from an enemy champ. So now youre stuck alone, 1v3ing bot to save a tower, pinging nonstop for help, nobody comes. You say

Jayce "Guys, if there are 3 of them bot, then you need to get in your lane and help me defend it. Kha, I dont know why youre even that far deep against a fed Master Yi, just defend lanes."

Ezreal "/all Please report Jayce for being toxic. Thanks" Khazix "/all ^"

Both of these have happened today to me. And theyre legit the most annoying thing in league. If someone is telling you the truth, to why we're losing, to why you're dying, why do you automatically pull the "Blah blah is toxic, please report." League is starting to become worse the more I play it.

Something being true doesn't exclude it from also being toxic. For example there is a difference between telling someone that they are overweight and thus unhealthy and pointing at someone and saying "fatty fat fat".

That said. I'd venture to say that things like giving up and selling all your items for 6x tears or mobi boots are probably a more significant factor anyway. Your description of events screams of oversimplification. If that was really what you were banned for you should post the chat logs.

um no that doesn't get you banned. Now, if the report was submitted and the report noticed you actually being toxic like insults, slurs, etc, then yes it will pick that up and punish you. However if there was none of that then there's no reason for you to worry at all.

On the other hand, if MF was asking others to report you, then THAT is a reportable offense because asking others to report is harassment. You should have reported MF for asking others to report under unsportsmanlike behavior and harassment.

if those the are exact things you said, then both scenarios won't get you banned.

People can report for anything whatsoever, even saying "mickey mouse" but doesn't mean that those reports are valid.

If you were punished, I'm inclined to believe that those weren't what you said. Logs or it didn't happen.

Maybe you should start telling us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Honestly if you knew anything about the report/ban system then you would know none of these scenarios alone would get someone ban. And it's never this clear when someone could be toxic. Heck if anything this just proves that you should never call out for reports in the first place.

Well I tend to think saying anything at all gets you banned even if "IMO" its the truth.

Jungler takes a stupid champion not in meta, goes jungle does absolutely nothing "Takes blue smite": instead of "Green Smite" lets the enemy jungle carry all game long...

Can't say anything to them even "Why don't you take green smite and help ward because it will lead to an argument and punishment for saying they should take green smite and help ward since they are not counter ganking or anything truth or not...

Player bot lane who kept trying to bait an argument earlier had to type /mute all, wouldn't give a valid response kept saying the same thing over and over again only way to avoid hearing the idiot speak was to mute em.

Get banned for telling someone they should do something, or build "X" thing seems very likely especially when something usually always leads to an argument with players I feel are dumb so the best solution seems to be let players be idiots, throw as many games as they want to "Don't care, and don't say anything but mute them, and do your own thing?"

You don't get banned just because someone is asking to report you in /all chat. Actually, if that would happen in MY games and I was in the opposing team, I'm more likely to report the players asking in /all chat first.
