Enemy mid laner gets one kill and can farm well, boom 20 kills in 5 minutes. Completely unstoppable and nothing you can do about it. Bot laner gets one kill and can farm well, 30 kills in 5 minutes. Completely unstoppable. I would rather have "wet noodle" fights over "Oh, X Champion used one ability and wiped the entire team in 0.000001 seconds.

(probably getting downvoted to hell for this)tbh i would rather have a snowball meta than a tank meta at least the people who snowballed either fall off or are still squishy and most of the time have a reckless playstyle (assuming ur talking about lethality champs and assassins) with tanks they arent falling off. Theyre going tank but still doing alot of damage. Everyone saying they want a tank meta but when poppy was abusing the new CoC mastery everyone was losing their shit and remember if its a tank meta all the tanks are going to be on that lvl of annoyingness. That being said i love fiora and she would be op during that meta tho all my assassins would struggle.
I picked jayce against gankplank top. Dude. shit isn't fair. I took ignite I killed him at level 3. I chunked like 80% of his ho + ignite one combo. he died. he came to lane he was 4 i was 5. I 100-0 him in one combo. that was just one kill. the dude afked because he obviously couldnt do anything. btw am not even average at jayce. too many champions can simply dive you and fuck you up after getting one kill. oh jhin won bot? he will just 3 auto you and chunk 1/3rd of your tank hp with his 4th execute. game is getting dumber. I haven't played a ranked game in two weeks. I never took a break so long but the game is just getting poor.
Logged in just to upvote, this is the worst state the game has been. I want the tank meta from season 5 back. Sejuani and Gragas weren't as obnoxious as Lethality users are right now.

At least with one the teamfights would be unpredictable because they're squishy, but have shields at the same time. It would be a matter of predicting who gets hit rather than taking a million hits and not dying. And using game changing but decently long cooldown CC rather than spamming melee CC on other melee champs

I remember when s6 tank meta was a thing everyone was crying that they wanted an assassin/burst meta. The grass is always greener, I guess.
The game balance is in a pretty disgusting spot currently, my main alone is already inferior to over 100 (!) champs in the game right now. Feel free to look up your own champ's ranking in the current meta to see how bad things really are.
most time when i get fed as an ap champion. the enemys just rush night of edge or maw or visage or a single mr item and just delete me with AAs while tanking my combo. hell edge of night jhin/varus is almost impossible to kill as an ap player. seen a feeding talon i mean legit like 2-12 rush edge of night jump over a wall and kill my jhin instantly an the edge spell shielded any cc i had to stop him.
for every person that wants a meta centered around tanks, there are dozens of people on the NA server shivering in their boots for a dreaded Season 4 throwback.
this season may seem problematic to a lot of people but Season 4 was some serious cancer. Tanks and latescaling hypercarries were pretty much obligatory 100% of games, and the interaction between players was piss-poor.
A big reason most game snowball out of control is towers are dying immediately, not just the lethality.
tank meta is fine as long as i don't die from a screen away from jayce/varus's Q or an assassin comes out of stealth and 1 shots me or an ADC. With tanks though i hate their constant CC. Support meta seems interesting :D
