So i'm level 20 (absolutely loving the game) BUTTT! There seems to be usually 1-2 people on the enemy team or my team that seem to totally ROFLSTOMP the opposition or my team? And it feels as though they're playing at a TOTALLY different level of play compared to the majority of their + my team

What is this? I'm sorry if i dont make sense english isnt my best language

Get out while you can, find a less cancer hobby, you will thank me later.

On a serious note (kind of), you could be playing with duos after a point that are throwing off the system.

ya i have legit advice. whatever you do, for the love of GOD, do not enter ranked as a fresh lvl 30 and with champs you never played before. get some experience under your belt in draft normals first, ALOT of experience. and im not talking with just one champ, im talking about with multiple champs. 2-3 champs you like for each role. dont be a one trick, autofill is a thing. there is no reason on this planet to ever just jump straight into rank when you have no idea what you are doing.

Okay so, everyones advice so far is to have you avoid the toxicity of this game. Heres genuine advice. I can tell you from my experience. Watch league of legends on youtube, watch some really amazing dude play a champ that you want to play.

What this will do is teach you your combos, how to play vs different champs and the game all together.

I went from bronze to gold pretty much just using advice from Solorenektononly and Foxdrop. One is a high elo top laner, and the other a med/high elo jungler. Both very informative, but there are 1000s more to watch.

Some friends of mine don't want youtube for league and literally stay the same skill level.

Watch. Youtube. Practice. Practice. Practice.

The entrance into a spiraling stairwell of despair. Riot is encouraging a burst/snowball meta, so beware.

Do you mean they get a big lead and just become too strong to 1v1? In that case you want to avoid direct foghts on their terms and instead only engage with them when other factors are stacked in your advantage (mainly number of teammates and use of cc). Also try to take objectives on other parts of the map so you can try and close the gap without giving them an opportunity to snowball harder. If they’re on your team then you want to support them and protect their shutdown gold. In future games try to do better in the lane phase so you can become one of those big hitters that steers the match.

Do you instead mean that some players make decisions that seem confusing to you but eventually work out despite your expectations? That’s a more complicated issue because it just means you have more to learn about the game in general. Consider watching your replays to see what mistakes in your play you can recognize and if there is information informing the decisions of other players that you missed. Again I’ll say to focus on early game more because that’s where a lot more decisions are cut and dry and having a good early game means you go into mid and late game with much easier decisions rather than a bunch of vague gambles that depend on the enemy making an egregious error.

A resource that helped me out a lot were Neace’s old coaching videos on his youtube channel. Even though they’re now on old patches, most of his advice is based on very core concepts of the game that still apply i.e. judging good trades, managing the wave, and timing your backs.
