Urgot's R's 2nd cast should ONLY be stopped by his death, invulnerability or immortality abilities.

#Death and things listed in the ability itself should still stop it. That's not what this thread is about, I'm talking about things like QSS or certain untargetability forms.

For a so-called unstoppable ultimate, it's piss poor disappointing.

Just watched interaction videos with it and different abilities, and a good chunk of them get away which I don't really think should happen.

The first cast is already 1, dodgeable, 2, blockable, or 3, literally able to disable second cast by just having enough health so he can't use it. Also can be Riposted/Windwalled/Braum E'd/so on and so forth.

If Urgot successfully lands his ultimate, nothing should be able to save you from it outside of invulnerability or immortality abilities (outside of just killing Urgot or whatever as the ability describes). Examples being things like Tryndamere ultimate, Zilean's ultimate, Taric ultimate, Kindred ultimate, stasis, so on and so forth.

Spellshields already don't work against second cast if first cast landed which is perfectly good.

Untargetabilities should be simply force-canceled and drag them out of untargetability if Urgot starts his ultimate.

Alternatively, the dragging should just continue on until their untargetability ends and then resume as normal.

OR, just wait until they're out then start dragging them because said untargetability shouldn't be allowed to remove the status effect that lets Urgot drag them.

Movement abilities (such as Ryze R if he times it to disappear at the right moment) shouldn't be able to stop it and should just drag them to Urgot regardless.

Braum E blocking second cast (confirmed) and IF Yasuo can block the second cast (gets first cast hit, but windwalls before Urgot casts second to stop it), those interaction(s) should be also removed.

Lastly, QSS/Cleanse/Mikael's/other cleansing effects like Gangplank's W and so on and so forth should not be able to cancel the second cast.

Yeah because who cares you can:

  1. Dodge the first cast altogether.
  2. Have the tank bodyblock it.
  3. Prevent the second cast altogether by just having enough health to disable even the very usage of it.
  4. Just kill Urgot to end it (less likely but still an option)

I already saw someone absolutely obliterate the argument you're presenting. I will paraphrase;

This is not DotA, Urgot is not Axe.

That being said, counter-play is not wrong, every single skill in this game can be countered somehow so shhhh.

This is just a dumb idea.

What gets me is that if you hit them with the Ult and it WOULD kill them from the damage alone, as you pull them in you can get killed and they live EVEN THOUGH the Ult damage put them below ZERO HPS

I want his ultimate to have zero counterplay

How about no

I mean, it's not like you make an unfair point.

From my understanding, activating the ult a second time once the target is belove the threshold SUPPRESSES them, or is supposed to. From my understand of how suppression works, a Yi should not be able to Alpha Strike, Trynd unable to R, Zil unable to self-cast R, etc.

I think casting a death save or untargetability BEFORE should keep the ultimate locked onto them, but it cannot be recast during a time of untargetability, like Alpha Strike or while being eaten by Tahm or in stasis. There does need to be a lot more consistency with what can and cannot block his execute, and I hope Riot can work on that as Urgot goes live and we see his strengths and weaknesses.
