Most Reliable Riven Burst Combo?

So I'm having trouble playing Riven past the laning phase.

Is there a reliable Flash combo that 1 shots a squishy targets?

How many items does it take to 1 shot and what's the exact sequence of buttons?

I think I accidentally did it once where at even level with 3 items I deleted a Squishy target in 1.5 seconds. But I've never been able to repeat it...

How do you maximise the damage output and make it so they can't react?

Riven's not reliable, her only kit is like, flash stunning in a tiny radius then doing an OKAY amount of damage.

Uh. I think the naive version of riven is typically QQQQQQ death.

I do not play riven, but I gather the gist of most of riven combos is weaving in auto attacks and constantly animation canceling. So things are like AA Q AA Q AA W AA Q or something along those line (not sure exactly when the w goes in there), with move commands in between most. I think if you have a tiamat item you can use that to cancel stuff for even moar damage too.

But again, I do not riven, so perhaps best to let an actual riven main address things.

Burst including a flash? The only one I can think of with using the least amount of buttons, are... With R1 enabled, E+R2 -> Flash + W+Q. You should be at a long-ish range, yet close enough to flash for your W+Q.

YOU MUST WAIT A FEW MILLISECONDS BEFORE YOUR FLASH!

This will allow your R2 to fly through FROM your original area (before you flashed). After you flash, you would press W+Q almost at the same time on your target, putting out damage so your EXECUTE DAMAGE will benefit from the target's missing health. If you timed R2 correctly, W+Q would damage your target first.

If you flash too early, your R2 would fly from your new position (after you flashed), too close to the target. This will cause R2 to be the first instance of damage, being weaker as it does not get to use the execute damage efficiently.

I don't know what items are sufficient enough to kill a squishy. This combo should kill in less than 0.2 seconds from the first instance of damage... assuming the target is squishy enough or was already damaged earlier.

What if I go E + R... Flash... W + Q + auto + R2? (with subsequent Q+autos if they are still alive)

I suppose you would press Tiamat/Hydra sometime after you Flash but will it interrupt anything?

Can I auto between W and Q and get away with it?

My suggestion was for the quickest burst, least amount of buttons, with maximum damage possible using flash. E+R2 -> Flash+W+Q is probably the quickest combo ever.

With what you suggested, it's fine. Use item 3077 before W in that combo, or use item 3077 before R2. DO NOT ADD AN AUTO BETWEEN W+Q IF YOU WANT TO "BURST". After you use E + R1 + Flash, you would be able to cancel W's animation with Q. Adding an auto between it slows your combo down too much since you would no longer cancel W's animation with Q. If you're going to suggest even more different ways, you need to decide which one you use in a given situation. Every situation is different. You cannot just pick one combo and focus on it forever. Understand, and get used to playing Riven where every combo is basically natural to perform. When that's done, it's up to your knowledge/judgement to decide what's reasonable/effective in certain situations.

Nevertheless, you asked for the most reliable "burst". I'd guess that would be E + R1 -> Flash + Q + Auto + item 3077 (if time allows) + R2 + W. W'S DAMAGE GOES FIRST BEFORE R2 DAMAGES FIRST DESPITE THE ORDER, ALLOWING YOUR R2 TO POTENTIALLY BENEFIT FROM MORE MISSING % HEALTH. R2 + W is an animation cancel, so it's quicker.

I like this combo because, if the target has flash available, they don't use flash (unless I'm 12/0) early. This usually mean I can do the "E + R1 -> Flash + Q +Auto + item 3077 " first. Then... I can put the rest of my damage with R2 + W before they feel the need to flash and use it. If you do W + R2 instead, they can actually flash out after your W-stun wear off, causing you to risk missing R2.. They tend to flash AFTER the stun, so that's why I save it for last.

E R F AA WQ R AA and then hydra if you have it can do the trick if you're strong.

Why are there so many dislikes?

I'm only trying to find out how to Flash kill targets in such a way that they can't react/respond. This would help my KDA, allow me to carry games, and salt with more authority if things devolve. Isn't that we all strive for?
