How Does Rumble Mid Work?!?!

So recently, I decided that I wanted to be a mid main, as that's where my best champs are at, and I also want to play rumble there. He's my best champion and he's one of my favorites, and I typically use him in the Jungle role. But since I've decided to focus on playing mid lane, I want to know if he is viable in the mid lane. If not, why?

If he is viable:

What are his strengths? 2.What are his weaknesses? 3.How would I build him? (I can test this myself, but I would like help getting started.)

Any help would be appreciated.

Hes a battle mage with a melee auto theoretically it should still work. Hes a solo laner already as hes meta top. Probably need more emphasis on rabadons as its mostly squishy and zhonyas.

I wouldn't say he's good midlane because he has zero CC, mobility, no real poke, he's melee, no sustain

Any assassin would tear him to shreds because he has no way of defending himself so he's a sitting duck for the most part

mages can push lanes just as well as he can and they don't have to get in his face to do it so he cant whittle people down with his Q like he can in top lane

if rumble doesn't watch his heat then he can also be abused because when he overheats he can't fight back because he will either get jumped on or kited

you would probably almost always have to build defensively first to survive laning phase too
