No, it's the amount of safety nets pumped into them. It takes no skill to reactivate R as Zed, or press W on Akali and towerdive, or press W on Yasuo and make their ADC useless for the duration of the fight.

are not hard champions, they have a low-medium skill floor because of how easily they can avoid fucking up.

Zed was not made by certainlyt And his ult didn't use to have a shadow behind him, this was introduced 1 or 2 years after his release

Those champions don't have easy learning curve. They're medium. Or it's just people being terrible at those champions when they are released.
