Riot, about scripters...

If people using third-party software can time and aim their skillshots (in particular, Xerath as an example) to near perfection and land almost all of them, isn't that an issue with the balance of the champion overall? Lately, everyone's been complaining about assassins and lack of counterplay, but I think aim bots really expose the capability of non-assassin long-range mages like Xerath to be abused.

TL;DR Aren't Xerath's skillshots too large (in particular, Q) to be dodged if timed perfectly by a computer?

You're not a perfectly timed computer though. What does it matter what a computer can do?

I think the argument is that if you're good enough, a skill shot cannot be dodged no matter how good you are at dodging the skillshot, and thus it's not fair.

I don't agree with this, because if the average good player cannot consistently land a skillshot against an equally good dodging opponent, then it's a skill matchup.
