I don't mind turrets being squishy and dying fast but can they please do some actual damage. Turret diving should be something that really has to be thought out instead of just letting a tank sit there for 1-2 minutes while their team decides if they want to go in or not.

I disagree. I'd rather towers not do much damage at all but actually be durable enough to last more than 3 seconds unattended. Right now they crumble if you do so much as sneeze in their direction.

Either would be preferable for me because right now they don't last and don't do damage.

Yes, they need buffs in general. They're pretty much worthless right now.
