Cait needs some tuning in her power levels

Remember when Cait was the premier bully in the early game , horrible in the mid game and come back online during the late ? Now she is just over oppressive in the early game , has a ok mid game (But because of how oppressive her early game is , chances are you are still going to be ahead of the enemy adc) and a really powerfull late game. Why does she get to be powerfull in all stages of the game ? AND WHY ARE THERE TRAPS UNDER MY TURRET , I JUST WANTED TO FARM. Also , getting hit by her E and activating her Headshot is a load of bullshit

The reason cait is disgusting late game is the hurricane change in pre-season 6.

If you hate caitlyn as I do, then I have the answer for you! Simply play sivir. You can eat up her traps for mana nom nom nom and you have near instaneous wave clear past lvl 9 so she can never seige your tower!

Will try sounds fun. I used to love playing Sivir but I find she takes to long to scale.

Caitlyn doesn't even need to touch the keyboard to crush Sivir in lane, though if Sivir survives early she can rush Shiv and push Cait to the turret without much counterplay.

Sivir's ult alone will never allow her to be useless, especially not "useless in every other scenario" (not to mention quick, reasonably safe, AD waveclear is such a precious thing in league)

Hmmm , I actually have a pocket pick against Cait too (Tristana) , but my I hate having to be almost forced to pick a champion because another is just outright overtuned. But thanks for the heads up , I'll give her a swirl , and maybe have 2 counter picks

Do you not know the trick where u put down a trap behind the enemy tower so it's basically invisible?

It's because unless you get so far behind that she's 2-3 levels ahead of you and 2 shotting you there is no adc in the game that will lose a 1v1 duel vs her. She gets beaten by just about all of them. Also her kit supporting crit and garbage AS make it really difficult for her to be useful against tanks until really late in the game. She needs IE, Boots, Hurricane (by then you want lifesteal) before she can get any time of anti-tank item. Normally you're reaching the end of the game and she won't be able to get it cause she needs that important survival item such as GA or Scimitar etc.

She's like pantheon. Her early game is stupidly good because her mid-to late game is just so full of counterplay and becomes so horrible that you have to go against what your kit desires in order to stay relevant. Panth's kit supports damage. Pure damage, but full AD pantheon falls of HARD against anybody with 2-3 armor items

Her late game isn't horrible and is probably top 5 for adcs, once she hits level 6 and she hasn't killed you, you pretty much have an advantage because her ult provides nothing to the fight and she can't handle any form of all ins. Unless she's snowballing her mid game might be the worst out of any adc, I don't know what these people are talking about. Slow attack speed, no on hit damage effect beside crit shot, and a Q and R that barely does anything in team fights, does not make for a good mid game champion. I don't get it...

If she's using her E for a headshot proc then she is giving up her escape to do so. Capitalize on that. It's decision making that is better being present in her kit than not.

Then why is it that when I build full tank.

Frozen heart, tabis, spirit visage, randuins omen, ga, and a thornmail and still get deleted by caitlyn but take almost 0 damage from their apc

what most players can not comprehent: unlike other adcs caitlyn has a realy low attack speed and no attack speed buffing abilities. What gives cait her damage are her combos E+Q+AA or AA+E+Q+AA. if youre asking for her damage to be shifted so that she deals less burst damage but has DPS close to that of the other adcs then you're right. But right now this is the meta,the meta we are currently playing is a burst damage meta,caitlyn and jhin some of the most popular adcs. jayce and kennen among the most popular tops. mages and assasins were always bursty no need to talk about midlane. and in the jungle you mostly see heca,vi and lee all of which deal burst damage.
