Sure. Go to Options --> Ping volume --> Set to 0.

i report people because they literally exhibit backwards thinking gamethrowing mechanics and they intentionally play to lose the game, can i get these players banned already?

you mute trolls, not people who are trying to win the game. if you want to shut off all ties and handicap yourself go right ahead, just know you are lowering your chance of winning, and especially crippling your potential in league.

as for the pings themselves they are quickly gated and severely limited to what they can do after their 6th ping. do you honestly want to punish someone for overcommuncating
