Lately nobody has been picking any real supports for bot lane I've been seeing things like varus,Evelyn,zed,garen, Caitlyn as supports or just duo adcs and it's actually been causing late games to fall off for that specific team ... so I the only one experiencing this in game?

edit: I'll also note that you are in bronze 5, it's not considered noteworthy if the team comps in bronze 5 seem nonsensical.
A Slenderman1 votesAre you looking at the same match history I am. I see what I believe to be Lux, Morde, Xerath, Voli,Vel'Koz, and Annie in the last 5 games.
These are not traditional supports no matter how far your head is up your ass except maybe Lux. These people are just monkeys out for blood.
Quepha2 votesAnd you are conveniently ignoring the Braum, Leona, Blitzcrank, Sona, Rakan, Thresh, Taric and Soraka in that same set of games. All champions considered to only be really viable in the support role and placing all over the spectrum of passive protecters to offensive kill lanes.
The fact is that there are a VARIETY of champions in the support role just like there are a VARIETY of champions in every other lane except maybe bot carry.

Pie Cubed1 votesNot really. I mean, "supports" are very common, but real support champions (Braum, Nami, Blitz, etc.) still show up in games. When I say "supports" I mean Brand and the like.
Kartagia1 votesYou have mistaken. Harass support is real support, but I give my story - why I ceased to play healwr/tank support.
I did try to play support like dps bullies wanted,but I got really frustrated as my win or loss was not in my hands, but usually totally incompetent adc did caus e loss,or rare ecperience of decent adc who treat support as equal. I tried harass dipports, and suddenly I could make the difference. I could defend tower when, not if, adc de facto suicided in desperate attempt to take kill.
I did learn to play during season 1. I learn support is mobile role like jungle going where needed. I reverted to that way, and I have plenty of comebacks. Support roöe shoild be put outside lanes, but adc players do not want to lise their scapegoat when lane is lost.
Devilreaper XIII1 votessupport role doesn't state you to actually directly aid the adc, but to indirectly grant vision and cc. there are tons of ways to support, so basically any champion can support, i agree though the role should not be main tagged anymore on any champion, since support role has become sub and not main.
for the record blitzcrank is a main tank sub fighter/support.

A Slenderman1 votesBecause people that get autofilled into support literally have no clue how to play support in lower elos. They just pick whatever they are comfortable playing and go for blood and it probably works about 40% of the time.

khorney1 votesthe issue with taric is the keystones....the only keystoen that syncs with him is windskeepers and idgaf what anyone else says....courage doesnt due to he ahs no hard engage, bond of stone isnt as efficient as it was before due to yuor only cc is your e that has a long cd and is easily dodged so why not heal and shield you for more

You should use it on him, for sure, and that's good. He has a strong winrate with that keystone.

The best Taric players (top Taric players, most talented Taric players, etc.) use Windspeakers. It is the best keystone for Taric.
khorney1 votesi thought u were sayign top lane and im like wtf lol. but there is no other keystone that syncs with him besides windskeepers, ive been usign that since they reworked him with the ult...people complain about the ult but for what teh delay helps him but it also helps the enemy team. it would honestly be a nerf if they made it instant cast. i dont look at winrates due to why ? figure the shyt out yourself lol. the old bond of stone worked on him because there was nothing wrong with it gettign that and knights vow was mad damage reduction
