The actual reason why its almost impossible to leave bronze

Broke Homie Quan·8/30/2017, 2:12:36 AM·4 votes·2,117 views

everytime I get promoted to bronze 4 I end up back in bronze 5 because of people trolling hard and when I say trolling I mean this.

  1. its always at least 1 person who says they aren't gonna play their best just because its bronze
  2. someone who plays a champ they never ever played before in ranked or haven't played in a while and then feeds
  3. someone rage quits 10 minutes in or mid game

I literally deal with these every game and its ridiculous especially # 1 and #2 people always saying "well idc if we lose its just bronze" like what is the whole point in playing ranked if you don't wanna try to help in a bronze elo.

the only reason I'm in bronze is because when I first started ranked I haven't played league in about a year because I just moved to Miami and I was getting situated so I had to get a laptop to play sooo anyways I had a laptop but no mouse and I was on crappy wifi and that ended horribly landing me in bronze from lagging and using the laptop pad for a mouse .... now that I have those fixed I just wish there was a way I could reset my elo and try again this is a really frustrating elo lol and very toxic

The actual reason is that you aren't good enough.

I know it's frustrating, but, if you DON'T do those things, there are only 4 spots for trolls on your team and 5 spots for trolls on the enemy team. The odds are in your favor, although I know it doesn't often feel that way -- confirmation bias is a real thing, and it can be super irritating when it feels like you always have trolls and the enemy never does.

Play any meta champ if you want to get out of bronze. Or 1 trick a champion that wins you games.

I have never had any problem leaving bronze. I get placed bronze 3 or 4 every season and leave it in like 50-60 games every year.

Git gud? Alot of players get our of bronze. I got out of bronze last season and got stuck in silver 3 lol. And I continued to improve and left that elo.

If you're carrying. people aren't going to afk. People on their 1st time champ isnt that different than them playing their mains. Its bronze lol.

The first step in moving up in the ratings is realizing that your team is not the problem, you are. In a setting where everyone is awful and you're great, you win most of your games, regardless of what your team is doing. It's like a high school kid competing in a basketball game with a bunch of 5th graders. Every game is a stomp.

I glanced through your match history, and here's what I found:

  1. You are a feeder every other game. When I say feeder, I mean you've got high deaths, but low kill participation.
  2. Despite often playing top lane, with teleport, and your games going over 30 minutes, you don't manage 150 CS in most of your games. In fact, in only a handful did you manage break 100. That's extremely low.
  3. Instead of running Flash, which is all but essential, you're running stuff like Teleport/Ignite. Flash not only acts as an escape, but also is more effective in securing kills than Ignite is, in most situations.
  4. You're using Windspeaker's Blessing on Vlad and Mundo. Windspeaker's Blessing's second half only applies to other champions, not to yourself. You're better off with just about any other mastery. Probably Stormraider for Vlad, and Grasp of the Undying for Mundo would be best, though I don't specialize in those champs so I'm not sure.

I'd actually have to see you play to comment further, but the short of it is, you have a lot to improve on. Right now you think and play like a Bronze player, which is why you're stuck in Bronze.

Reading posts with "the only reason i'm bronze" written anywhere in them is cringe. Placed silver late S4 and got placed bronze 5 S5 with only a few months of experience with this game and maybe a couple hundred games played. Ended up gold 3. The trick is that yes, you will lose alot of games because people down there arent the brightest, but that doesnt give you the excuse not to learn from what YOU did wrong. Own your mistakes, if you're losing more than you're winning in bronze, there will be alot of them.

You should take flash on nearly every champion even Graves because if you're Graves jungle you can just E over summoner 11 and summoner 4 out. ALSO if you're still wondering new season starts November 9th i think.

-- I know this is old but thought i might jump in anyway. --

  • One of my accounts is Silver 3 (Won 5 Lost 5 placement: Silver 4) -
  • The other is Bronze 4 (Won 7 Lost 3 placement: Bronze 5) -

It can be hard as a low Silver/Bronze player to get out of Bronze but sometimes it just takes time.

Some games are unwinnable meaning even if you're doing well they cannot be won. But Bronzes think most games are, when really you need to focus on CS, Objectives, and Dying less often.

You must also accept you're perhaps not as good as you think. I did this and it got me to Silver 3 so far.

As a Bronze myself i always see others AND MYSELF not placing enough wards, not applying enough pressure around the map, not taking towers when the enemies are down but instead wasting it on running around (essentially doing nothing). OR deciding to take Elder Drake when your team has no previous Drakes, or even better still, they start baron to have it stolen by the enemy Jungler who just re-spawned and ran straight there because they had a ward and your support doesn't even have a Sweeping Lens / Oracle Alteration.

Mid - Late game you need to focus on towers NOT KILLS (a champion doesn't stay dead TOWERS DO).

Don't know if this helps but thought I might drop by if you're still looking to get out of Bronze / Silver

(P.S. If the toxicity is getting to you /mute all don't be afraid to do it you wont regret it i got 14 day suspension on both accounts for flaming so please do it if you still care about the game and don't want to end up getting banned :))

bronze is hell i easily climb to b2 then the shit feast starts the rest of team loses lane hard a shell giving over lots of kills then it loss after losss til im back in b4 lol. its funny (not really) Thing is i watch all the video's that say cs better yada yada yada and none of it works consistantly. Mt farm on adc and mid is damn good for bronze i die way less than others and try to go ffor obj over kills. None of this matters, sure it works some games but not nearly consistanly enough when the rest of your team is outclassed. Shit games where someone is 20 and 2 by 15 min happen in a lot of games. I almost have stopped playing adc because i cant effect the early to mid game enough. So i swapped to mid for a bit but run into same problems at same elo of b2. Someone tell me wtf am i doing wrong? Sure im not consistant as i like to be but im never that guy that is feeding or a liability to the team . Some games i do really good and some bad games im still not ding alot then there are games where they have something that fucks me up like late game yi or that stupid ass volibear. LOl im about ready to just give up on this crap. IT feel like when i hit that b2 game my team is b5 and the enemy is in silver and no matter what i do we get stomped . Frustrating

So in other words......

You're in Bronze for the same reasons as the people you complain about.

[zombie-brand-clap]

Just give it time. You'll become just like them.

It's not "almost impossible to leave bronze" I can do it, and a lot of other people can do it quite easily.

Killer30001898/30/2017, 2:37:54 AM1 votes

I know you don't have to or anything but taking flash really helps, it looks like you only take flash on ornn. Can i know why you dont use flash on anyone beside orrn?

TrulyBland8/30/2017, 2:58:39 AM1 votes

I literally deal with these every game

How often do you think that happens to the enemy? These strong impacting random events can slow you down to some extent, but they can and will not actually keep you below your deserved rank.

Kurai Mahou no8/30/2017, 3:53:17 AM1 votes

Main Jax, Yi, Yorick, or Kayle for Top Lane. Understand their kit and items.

Take the F----ing Flash with Teleport or Ignite (one or the other) and NOT both. Even Ghost is better than what you are currently using.

So what if Yi and Jax are braindead easy, or so you say. You want to climb? Abuse the broken, OP, braindead champs. You don't even play these champs and you say they "look easy so I won't play them"? You are not Silver or Gold, so play something more to your level. A bronzie shouldn't be playing half the champ roster in ranked when they don't even know how to build or have the mechanics for them.

Get your priorities straight, get out of the elo hell then worry about playing a "fun" champ.

I was in Bronze myself second year into playing League (Season 6). I mained Sona in mid and support to high bronze, then shifted to Udyr and Amumu Jungle into Silver. Picked up Kayle as my main in Top Lane in mid-season 6 and got to Gold. You need a change in attitude and perspective if you want to get out of bronze.
