"So midgame I guess is when everybody hits level 6 and starts going for kills and roaming, and then lategame is around 15-20 minutes when everybody groups and pushes to end the game".
And I thought about season 6. And why he would see the game that way. And I couldn't really argue with him.
And then I went and played something else.
Generally speaking; Mid game starts as soon as the first turret goes down for either side.
Yeah, we should make Surrender Vote available at 15:00, or maybe at 12*[slayer-pantheon-popcorn]* :00
Not to forget the other side
1-2 mistakes can cost you the game at 30 min because of the death timers
Yeah, mid and late game have been progressively getting pushed up in the time line by riot's hand. They don't want you to be able to turtle out games, they let snowball champions start snowballing before the 10 minute mark, and they've adopted a "rich get richer" design with stuff like dragon buff and towers/levels controlling minion power.
League has become the call of duty of mobas. Yeah sometimes a game will be evenly matched, but generally it's one side getting stomped and the other side feeling helpless.
It use to be more tactical, but now it's become more twitch based...
They sped up most games, personally I like it. For me, after the timer goes past 45 I'm done and want to either go do something else, or play a new game
Back then when targon was first introduced and adc could execute with it, late game was considered around 25min where adc would have all 6 items. Never thought I'd see late game getting shoved even earlier.
I mean, when he said lategame started at 15 minutes i facepalmed so hard.
Literally, physically mashed my face with my hand.
