Better to stack health or armor/mr on skarner?

I dont know whether to stack health with things like sterak titanic and such or armor with things like dead mans spirit visage...

Armor and MR are bad without HP. You usually need balanced itemisation.

My skarner build (back when skarner had heal mechanics) only had SV and Randuins as defensive items, now without his Heal, id just say BV and Randuins + Mercs\Tabi.

if im on skarner, i will consider 1 of 2 builds. i will either go tank, and be a team player, or i will go devourer and destroy their back line.

my builds look like this.

item 1409 -> item 3111 -> item 3800 -> item 3075 -> item 3102 -> item 3748 general tank build. thornmail may be replaced with iceborn gauntlets or frozen heart for extra utility and needed CDR.

my damage build is

item 1415 -> toss up, swifties, merc treds, ninja tabi, will counter build the team -> item 3124 -> either tank item or further snowball with item 3153 -> complete with other tank items.

so ill either be 2 damage items, or 3 damage items pending enemy team comp.
