How to climb elo

So I feel like I'm in an unusual spot with my mmr where I am high enough to be playing against other gold 3-4 players but i get teamed up with silvers. I am an adc main so carrying is not an option as adc's are heavily team reliant and i can play other roles too but I cant do anything in game either because my team is incredibly behind or they arent playing team player champions, not that i dont mind its just at least do a job of actually try to help other teams. My biggest issue with my elo (or I dont know what it is) is that my teammates refuse to help bot lane or just help at all Pretty much I want to climb out of this elo but with my elo being like this, no matter how good I am as a player, both solo and team oriented, I can't get my team to cooperate at all. This is pretty much the case within every game I have played Gold. I've been watching streamers climb and I can say plat-diamond elo looks easier and worse than Gold, which confuses me sometime. Does this get worse the higher you climb? So thats my struggle and was wondering how some of you guys climbed the elo ladder.
