She has had a position in the top 25 highest winrate champions for the entire season.

They will probably never buff Ahri again unless the meta changes drastically. Ahri is arguably the most perfectly balanced champion in the game, and yes, you are just bad with her.

an* And her kit is very much like an assassin. Also you cant really not build like one. item 3165 item 3285 item 3157 item 3089 are all items id build on ahri, they arent really assassin items though. Id still buy them on someone like lb just the same

I'm mastery 7 Ahri with somewhere around 500 matches played as her. All I can say is her kit is designed to be an assassin. Get in and get out. You don't need a zhonya's on her depending on your playstyle, but it can be useful. Morello, Luden's, and Rabadon's are musts, but I don't usually get Rabs until fourth item. Void staff I feel is interchangeable with Abyssal depending on your laning opponent, but you have to remember her kit. I find myself 1v2 or 1v3 more times than I care to admit attempting to take out an enemy carry because they've left themselves open. It all just comes down to your own playstyle and how familiar with the champion you are. Also, sustain Ahri IS a thing but it's not necessarily as impactful on a match as assassin Ahri is.

Also a pointer, if I'm losing exchanges against an ap mid laner I'll get lost chapter then build straight into abyssal finishing morello's later. If I'm winning then I'll build a void staff second item that way I have magic penn before I need it, and I'm able to cut straight through whatever runes and masteries anyone on the opposing team might have. Luden's is a very nice mid game item because of the aoe effect that it has, and the movement speed buff, but if the game is still only inbetween 10-20 minutes and you've already finished morello's and have some extra coin to spend, it's not necessarily useful. You just have to figure out the flow of the match you're in the middle of.

One of the most obnoxious champions in the game. Definitely not weak unless you are incapable of landing anything other than w.

meanwhile ahri can literally do any role she wants without any form of punishment

I find it funny that literally moments after you message me in league saying I'm reported for being boosted and smurfing I find this online about Ahri. Guys, if I'm a smurf them I'm the worst one in the world. He's referring to my most recent match, and if you don't already know, 219 cs at over 40 minutes with a score of 8/13/19 sucks. Okay very early on she's relatively weak simply because her mana costs are really high so it becomes a risk to trade or even harass with your abilities. However once you complete item 3802 or item 3165 the power spike you get is simply insane. Your mana problems simply vanish and you get lots of CDR, AP, and a grevous wounds passive in one bundle.

Ahri has no risk factor at just about any point in the game unless she's throwing on purpose.
