@Riot Forget Racists, Sexists and Homophobes! Your Balance Team has Worse Double Standards!
"We tend to let champions like Sejuani [who thrived close to a 60% win rate for a while], level off after we nerf them in some way. We're not intending to leave them to die and be forgotten, but in the interest of keeping the live environment fresh, we don't want to rebound and throw more buffs at her, since she only just stopped being picked so much. She'll be back -- we're just trying to let other champions have some time in the spotlight!"
Riot Time Wizard
I can understand why
is oppressive and Riot is a bit hesitant to have her strong. But please, please explain why the greatest rework of all time, the standard against which all reworks should be judged, a champion of beautiful design and execution, who stimulates team compositions, has clear strengths and weaknesses and increases diversity is left nerfed to near uselessness in the jungle while
gets buffed the SECOND he appears slightly weak in a new meta?
There is playing favorites; then there is blatant hypocrisy.
Is everything that Riot is moving AWAY from in their new champions and reworks. He has no clear role, no clear weaknesses, very little counter play. What person or group of people on the balance team has a raging boner and/or lady boner for watching champs fly across the map when Lee Sin screams "ACHOO?"
Meanwhile
Has a role, Has clear weaknesses, Has counterplay and gets left in the trash for months. WHY? Where is the logic? The Design team is releasing Champions with situational power like
and
and reworks like
and
(Both of whom have clear roles and strengths) but the balance team rushes to protect
, who is good on any team comp against any team comp and is powerful against any enemy team.
Then as soon as the newly released or reworked champions are under their jurisdiction the balance team ignores them for eons.
