AD carry + support lanes started off because AD carries were weak early game

Back when this meta started the standard ADC was like Ashe.

Now, AD + support lanes are the best 2v2 lanes in the game and no other 2v2 lane can counter ADC support lanes. You can come up with any combination of bruiser/support/mage/assassin and they won't beat the best ADC + support lanes.

Not to mention ADC support lanes outscale everything else. Riot has been powercreeping the early games of AD carries ever since Season 2. Graves, Draven, and now Lucian, etc

This is a fundamental problem that needs to be addressed. This is the main reason AD + support lanes are so standard, because nothing beats them

Not really. AD carries used to be played mid a lot because they could do well in lane and even bully a decent bit (Ashe mid was the thing back in season 1). The bot lane and often the top lane were played with supports instead of the carries (this was before you had a jungler in every game). However, top-tier players noted that AD carries didn't use the accelerated level gains well, and they were also poor roamers due to low cc, which made them inferior to the mages who could quickly push and go gank. AD carries were put with the supports because they could do fine just getting gold instead of being reliant on the experience gains of a solo lane. They weren't put there because they were weak, they were put there because other champions could use the midlane better.

So long as AD carries are less exp reliant than mages, bruisers or assassins, they'll be placed alongside the supports. They are not the guaranteed lane win against non-traditional comps you think they are (try Annie+Leona and watch the carries cry), but they do scale into the midgame better on low experience gains so long as they can get items to right click with. You can beat ADC + support lanes, but experience gains make it risky to attempt to do so.

Lol pantheon and talon don't get poked til lvl 2 hard engage adc GG

Theyre still weak early game. They're far more viable than any other combo. If double bruisers don;t win by midgame you lose, that's why its not viable. It has literally 0 to do with early game.

plot twist: double support bottom lane (one plays the damage dealer role via AD thresh, etc.)

There are plenty of duo lanes that will brutalize ADC + support. That is not the reason ADC + support is standard bot lane.

I'd like to point out that one of the reasons Lulu/Ryze/Nidalee have been so popular in competitive play is because they lane extremely well 2v2 against ADC+Support. The dynamics of trading in bot lane restrict the champion pool somewhat, but there are a number of non-ADCs that can match the damage output and laning patterns of ADCs quite well early on.

The only reason you don't see Ryze bot more often is because a team without an ADC is gonna have an ass time pushing towers, and there are usually pretty significant opportunity costs to running an ADC in a solo lane or jungle.
