do you play mid? Do you play support?

If you play support a lot then Bard

If you play mid a lot then Orianna

Bard is hilariously fun to play.

Results will vary a great deal based on skill level though, as bard is one of those champs where you can be well meaning but end up hard trolling your team by accident.

Also bard is a support, and ori is a midlaner, so theres a pretty big difference in playstyles there.

Yeah, it took me a few games to get down bard(i main support) and man the outplays! i once had zhonyas and was about to be 3v1'd by their blue jg(in between the base and jg wall area) so i ulted myself and zhonyas a bit before then left through the portal, stunned them ran and got a chime at the last second stunning their adc and our jg destroyed them CX

Bard can't be good and his bm potential is pretty funny, I bought bard and played him for about a week before I got good at him

Orianna is super strong and is one of the best mid laners in the current meta, not sure how fun she is but she looks fun

Personally, I want to buy fiora kindred or riven but I already wasted 6300 ip on Azir and he's horrible, instead, I'm trying out free to play champs and if I like them I'll buy them, so far I'm thinking of getting irelia, it's probably best to wait till they're free to chech them out

I play fiora and kindred, kindred's is in a bad spot atm and fiora is super fun to play, however kindred and fiora have no hard cc(unless fiora parries)

Yeah, that's why I'm trying out the free to plays, irelia is looking promising so far

I'm almost level 5 bard and he's guaranteed fun, he can be super good, wish I could tell you more about orianna :(

ignore these mooks, bard can mid fine if you're willing to deal with short range. huge burst potential even with low items thanks to passive.

orianna is stupid and lame, bard is for the cool dudes

lol, I'll have to get orianna after bard then, cause ori looks cool.

I am a proud 353800 mastery point, level 7 support Bard main, and I love every second of it. (Yes, I am silver)

Bard has a lot of frustrating times, and rarely will you achieve a double kill, let alone a single kill, and to truly get good at Bard you need to account for a few factors.

1: The enemy support should be short ranged: there's no better feeling than getting all 3 spelltheifs edge stacks off on a support, or his adc, and when you have a Tahm, Braum, or the occasional Sion, it's almost assured a win, and a lot of coinage due to your stun allowing heavy bursting and spelltheifs procs.

2: Communication with your adc: When I get into game I make sure if the adc is a main, if he is then I don't need to tell him this, but if he isn't I usually tell him to wait until I get 1 enemy stunned and it's safe to go in, or 2 enemies stunned, in which case we go h.a.m and usually trade, or get a kill or two. Telling ganking junglers to go into an offhand bush to be "e'd" into the lane for a surprise gank is one of the best things you can do as bard, aside from placing good ults.

3: Ults: I can't stress this enough: Use your ult for only 3 reasons: To stop fleeing enemies, to save allied champs from being chased, and to save turrets, and heres why: Bards ult is hard to hit, due to the range and the delay, it's hardy efficient to fire offscreen, so you will miss it a lot. But, if you see a fleeing ally, and need to save him from being chased aim it half way infront of him, this will stun anyone behind him, and he will get off scot-free. it's the best ult for catching fleeing enemies, I use it to stasis them and line up a q, which is a super efficient combo. and ulting your turrets, or the champion under them while you mosey on over to lane can surely save you from flac, and get the adc's blessing. However, one of the most important things about bards r is actually his q, because hitting the enemy with that q (if it's a stun) aassures a LOT of damage from your allies, or yourself will go to him safely.

4: Them heals and steals: Bards heals are underwhelming, to compensate for this I do 4 things, If I am at the top-right fountain I place 3 shrines under my turret for later use, and that's all. But, if I am on bottom-left fountain I get my q first, and steal blue through the wall, on some occasion I actually kill the jungler with a well-timed summoner 3 and summoner 4 , and get back into lane before the adc and support try to cut me off. And no matter what, I ALWAYS get an item 3174 , it is a gift from mecha-jesus himself, and can completely turn around a team fight if you place it on an armoured tank after hitting an enemy for only a few seconds. Then I get a ton of ap and cdr and usually- though not independant by any means- I can actually be a really good roamer, because it's actually useful to pop a few heals in mid while you grab chimes, or do a mid gank for the heck of it.

My build ends as item 3303 item 3117 item 3174 item 3115 item 3089 and item 3151 / item 3135 / item 3116 .
