I have no main and it's hurting me in ranked.

Hello, so I've been playin for a while now and I still don't have one or two champions that I can play and do well with but still enjoy them. I have played a ton of champions and none of them really stand out to me. I only have one level 5 champion which is zed but I don't even enjoy him now. Since I don't have any good champions it makes ranked harder since I don't perform as well as I could. No champions really stand out to me. Any tips or suggestions would be really helpful. I need one that is just really fun but hard so you can always learn new things and enjoy playing them. Thanks in advanced for any tips on finding a main or anything.

Having no main can actually be a good thing.

If you're really mediocre at a wide set of champions, all you need to do is learn how to counter (if you know who you're playing against). ex: If you're up against a Lee Sin, pick someone that can either contest or get away from his invades. It's good to pick based on what your team needs (AP, AD, Tank). Don't just say "im picking zed idc if we have no other ap"

If you're still not doing up to your standard, practice makes perfect, normals exist for a reason. Try out some champions you haven't before, practice champions that you like.

Hope this helped!~ [slayer-jinx-catface]

I'm pretty good at the game overall so I do pretty well as every champion, just kinda nice to really know one.

I had this problem myself a while ago, you just have to ask yourself questions and try to find the champion that fits them all:

  1. What playstyle do you enjoy? Passive or Aggressive?
  2. What lane do you main?
  3. Tank or Damage?
  4. What champion groups do you enjoy the most? it really all comes down to simple questions like that once you answer all of them find the champion that suits you the most if they fit with all your answers. (BTW they are a ton more questions that could be asked, those are just very simple ones.)

Play jungle. Learn jungle. You are zed

my main tip is to just farm your mobs and ignore your teammates, learn from others

Zed jungle? What?

Also I've been playing jungle for a while and even though it's one of the hardest roles I find it the most boring.

zed is an assassin, people who like zed and play him a lot usually are good @ jungling as a player in general

If you want to win play annie/malphite/lucian/graves/ori even easy champions you can take to the next level. You wont have amazing win rates like my rek sai until you get alot better at the basics which above champions help. Just pick a couple say okay I play this now and try to get really good at it spam 8 times in a row of each. Better in no time.

Its important to play the same champions a lot because youll be facing the same champions a lot, and its such an advantage when you know exactly what you can and cant do in every matchup. Try picking up a champion thats not super popular (not Zed ) because chances are high he will be picked or banned.

Im ChaIIenger (below me) asked a lot of good questions. If you're a zed main currently, and enjoy mid, I recommend trying to play Kha mid (he's quite strong right now) or maybe you want to branch out and go either jungle or top.

Top lane is not going to give you the bursty damage you get from zed. Try going with a tank/bruiser up there. Right now, I really enjoy Volibear, Gragas, and Trundle for top lane.

Jungle is a nice place to experiment. You can go damage champs like Kindred/Nidalee, or you can play CC heavy tanks like Sejuani, (Gragas again is good here), Zac, or my personal pocket-pick, Vi.

I've played almost every jungler and a lot of top laners and haven't enjoyed many.

What was it about Zed that you really enjoyed? Was it insta-popping a squishy? Split pushing? Being able to dart in and out of combat? If you can answer those questions, maybe you can find a similar champ.

Also you said you're challenger? Op.gg says bronze v
