Platinum needs free promo wins like the lower tiers.

I have been in plat 1 promos twice this season now. I have should have won this last one when I was 1-1. I lost my last game because my bottom lane instantly started verbally abusing each other and trolling and intentionally throwing the game. This is plat 1 elo we are in probably higher. I should not be losing games because of intentionally trolling players. I don't get why other tiers have free wins but one of the most toxic tiers I have ever been in where trolls and afks are present almost every game doesn't have it.

You can't get free wins there? Huh, probably should've figured that when I'm playing D3+ at plat 2 and not getting free wins. It is pretty dumb, if your mmr is high enough you should be able to get free wins.

Yeah, but if Plat gets promo helper, that would be a tacit admission by Riot that the only actually competitive ranks would be Diamond and above.

Free wins are only after dropping division/rank

So if you dropped from D5 to plat 1 you would get a free win. I dont know if it does, but just randomly getting a free win isnt a thing even for low elo. Stop crying, if you cant climb even after 100 games, you deserve your rank.

NO IT SHOULD NOT. I hated when bronze - gold got free wins after the first lost promo. It's stupid, it makes elo a bit more worthless. Try hard enough and you will get where you belong. 2 promo this season? wow you must try really hard. People have 10 promos in a season to get where they want. Don't feel special because you had 2 promos you "should have won".
