URF Needs Permanent Bans back

If URF is going to come back every few weeks then it also needs the permanent bans back. 3 bans doesn't even come close to hitting everything that needs to be banned. The reason URF was fun for most last season and the season before was the permanent bans were in place and it forced players to stop playing the OP spam bot champions and get a little more creative with their picks. It get tiring joining a game to only play against an Ekko that kills you in 1 second flat or a Garen that can spin for the entire game literally with no downtime and somehow do triple dmg. We need the permanent bans back so we don't see the same champions every game.

BTW, kassadin ult is capped at 3/2/1 seconds CD, so I suspect there might be some more abilities that have static CD, instead of 20% of normal CD

riot did it before, when they first released urf they made it so you couldn't play around 10-15 champions as they were disabled in urf, the most frustrating ones were disabled.

Permanent Bans are not what is needed, that will just make people feel angry that their champ is unavailable to play, URF needs the same exclusive nerfs and buffs they gave to champs back in 2015 when it was out for the week. Every champ should at least be playable, and not too OP (although the whole point is to be op)

I think just making it be random champs would be better. If they disabled Sona/Alistar/Zed/Fizz/Evelyn/Hecarim/Wukong/Shaco/Morgana/Ezreal then people would just fine the next 10 most OP champs and spam them.

I wish they do more balance changes in URF tho, lol. I love playing the less popular ones like ziggs Viktor Anivia Zyra etc. but facing champs like Evelyn Jayce Zed they don't stand a chance. Working multiple combos was fun ,though.

Yes, pls, make 100 permanent bans, because the goal of URF is not to have fun, but to play only the buffed not-so-strong champions.

Seriously, you play URF for fun, don't you? And while it can be frustrating to play against a perma-invis Shaco you maybe can just run from him with your ∞Q as Singed or just Spam your bomb as Corki to make him visible. Again, You play this gamemode for fun, if you don't have fun just quit playing it and play bot Games with non-salty AI's where you can play what you want to win and keep your self-esteem up.

I too get tired of seeing the same 10-20 champs 100 times more than I should during these modes. URF is the worst, though, due to it's extreme mechanics changing format.

Bans usually go as follows too: your team bans three, one of which is a useless ban. The other team bans three, two of which are useless. Now you have four ban champs out of, what, 20 or so champs. Ten people on two teams, you do the math. You're always going to have tons of the same champs and it makes URF boring as hell.

I have said for some time now that a "rotating ban" should go into effect. Next time we get URF for our special game mode, it should AUTO BAN the top FIFTEEN champs played LAST time URF was available. Then you STILL get the six bans between two teams on top of that for a total of (21) bans. Fifteen of which are guaranteed to be good bans.

To counter the problem of people who don't have many champs, the champs that are free to play during URF should 'NEVER' be on the ban list. You could also allow people who's champ pool is small to select from both this and last circulation of "free champs".

In short, these modes (especially URF) will never be balanced, but there are champs that .. balanced or not .. would be great fun to play. Just, not fun if you're HORRIBLY losing to no less than four of the top champs for the mode. There needs to be a method of "limitation" to hold back the "zombie generation" from just choosing the most overwhelmingly overpowered champions every single match. IT'S BORING KIDS!

We had a Zed go 0/4 within the first two minutes. He was really garbage at the game. He got a pentakill later on :/

He 2v5'd the enemy team, him and me (Soraka). It was just sorta digusting. Should be permabanned in that mode.

While I would like it as well, with all of the reworks and such since the last full Urf (not the one this year, the one from last year), there are SIGNIFICANTLY more champions who can abuse things way too hard in Urf than they could before.

You'd have to ban like 70% of the champion pool at this rate.
