Wait am I missing something in the patch notes that changes this? Yeah, he got buffed, but how do his changes make Sona +Veigar new?

Veigar can't land his stun on his own now unless his opponent got kicked in the head by a horse as a child. Now, he relies on another teammates cc to land his own cc thus making 2 mid viable/op

But it's a compensation for Veigar's changes, not a buff to 2 mid with Veigar. Sure, 2 mid vs 1 is probably going to win lane but I don't think now it is "op"
