Thing is I live in california (sacramento to be exact) and we went from 30ish to 60ish ping and it isn't even noticable.

It actually really sucks. I have 90 ping now and had 30.

There are diamond players who made it their with 100+ ping. You will survive.

People love saying "deal with it, because I dealt with it" No one is going to improve by that. That is not helping anyone at all. Your supposed to say, "I've been through that, here is how I think we can improve or solve that problem"

But then again, you have a bunch of 10-14 year olds playing league so I guess I can't expect anything from them.

Riot is just stupid. Why would you change server locations? If this had move never existed, people would still play league on both sides of the coast. Sure, east coast would have higher ping but they've been playing like that for 4 years. Riot is just stirring up the hornet's nest for seemingly no good reason. Everyone was happy before the news about the server move, sure some East coast 14 year olds were bitching about ping and whatnot but they still played. Unless Riot makes a significantly higher money from East Coast, I don't see why you would move the server to Chicago. To fix that problem, I would just make 2 new servers, and people from different coasts and play on whichever server they want with their friends. So if they want to play together, one guy can get the higher ping, but most cases people who duo queue will likely be physically in proximity in each other. (same side of the coast)

My ping went from 12 to 50 but I'm sure I'll do fine although i might quit league because the only fun I have is on mechanically heavy champs like Lee Sin, Fizz, Leblanc, Yasuo, Riven, Talon, Zed etc, I hate slow champs like Brand, Malzahar, etc and Yasuo is hard to play with 50+ ping he is all about fast reaction times to cheese the enemy, (windwall, e, etc) else he is just a weak pile of poo
