Why Support is the most devastating role
Support is the most unfair feeling role in the entire game. Why? Well, I just went 0-3 because of bad teammates in all 3. What does Janna or Karma do when the top and mid are feeding, jungler doesn't know what to do, and the adc thinks face tanking a fed carry is a good idea. Not to mention the fact that in game 2, the top lane jax decided he wanted to TP bot and walk into the turret because our Kha was busy playing correctly. I main support, I know how impactful they can be. The problem is that support feels so unrewarding and is the first role to feel utterly hopeless in a game. It's so bad that it is truthfully pure a toss of the dice if I get a bad team or not. Good team - win. Bad team - lose (usually). Playing support, a main role in the game, shouldn't leave players feeling they should queue for 2 carry roles to ensure at least one lane doesn't get stomped.
To be fair, this is partial venting for getting Silver 5 level teams in Platinum games for no good reason, but the grievances are legitimate. Does anyone else have Support woe stories where they know there's nothing they can do and they can't go make an MLG big play because, well, you're playing Karma. Or Janna. Or some other absolutely amazing character, IF the team isn't garbage. If the team is that bad, you're stuck sitting in the back waiting for that sweet, sweet release form the game when the nexus finally dies and can only hope the intentional feeders get a perma ban.
