I've learned "Quality" over "Quantity" in my years and yet, Riot...........

Their stressing of "needing" or at least trying to "make" shorter games is really starting to show itself IMO. The quality of games is completely out the window. Most games are showing major signs of being over by the 20 minute mark. They introduced the 15 minute surrender to encourage "Why deal with a losing game? Get out now." process. Yet, I am confused as to why they want shorter games. The easy to see and direct result is that people will play more in a given time. But what is behind the scenes that would encourage dump or be dumped quicker. As with the profit motive in American Business, sacrifice american quality for cheaper and higher production labor elsewhere. I don't want to believe that there is somehow a profit motive behind shorter games. All I can say is, playing this game through the years, my heart pumped the fastest in the 50 minute, score-locked games. This might even extend into their champion making process. They have 100+ champions, and yet, a mere 15-20 are used in pro play? I would say that is because of the quality aspect (buffs/nerfs to champs making them stronger/weaker). Pros find the highest quality items and exploit. Please riot, go back to that "start-up" company mentality where "enjoyment of gameplay" was first and "succumbing to the masses" was second.

That's what happens when a video game company sells out.
