Twisted Fate and Runaan's

Provides me so much satisfaction when I repeatedly hit people with my e passive... but I feel so troll doing it. Is there anyone in the world that can design a build that includes Runaan's that's at least somewhat effective?

yes, it is called AD twisted fate.

Does even AD tf build runaan's, though?

He shouldn't really, it has bad synergy.

Runaan abuses on hit effects, but that's only the counter on E, not the damage.

TF has no AD scaling at all, so can't really waste an item slot on pure AS.

Also Runaan's can not crit either.

but when combined with Nashors and Wits end...and Lich Bane.....

its awful but hilarious.

His w has 100% ad scaling

I should have expted this response, it is a common oversight with TF.

The abbility adds 100% AD magic damage, but it also removes 100% AD physical damage. So in effect it's actually zero scaling.

You said tf has no ad scaling. When talking about his abilities scaling is used to describe how an ability becomes stronger. His w has 1.0 ad ratio and a .5 ap ratio. Meaning it does in fact scale with ad. I'm aware it deals magic damage, but that isn't what you said. There was no oversight, you just misused the terminology.

Duke's right, you know. I mean, W technically has 1.0 AD Ratio, but the W isn't an on-hit effect, it's an autoattack modifier. It removes the physical portion of the basic attack, but the AD is factored into the Magic Damage.

You're probably thinking that whenever you use W, the damage is your AD + 0.5AP + 1.0AD, when it's actually just the two scalings.

What? Who said anything about on-hit effects? Duke said tf has no ad scaling, which isn't true. If you buy a bloodthirster as tf guess what, his w is going to do more magic damage because it scales off ad. It isn't technically true, it is true.

Nope, let's say TF's AA does 60 physical damage, when you use W that same auto attack will do 60 magic damage and W will do 70 damage. Then you buy Bloodthirster and use W, now the AA does 140 magic damage instead of 140 physical damage, but the W will still do 70 damage.

When Caitlyn buys a BT, her AA does more damage and her Q and R do more damage too.

On hit teemo. frozen mallet, wits end, runnans, bork, furor boots, stattick, and pnathom

The standart AP on hit build is Nashor's, Runaan's and Wit's, then finish to taste.

You'll probably want Seraph's for mana.

then Deathfire, Liandry's or Abysal.

Gunblade is also an option as you can use the active about every 6 seconds.

I think it would be effective, but different, more AoE than Burst. Wit's end also softens up several targets for other magic damage dealers.

That iiem is only viable on Kayle.

ADCs have no need for it and sacrifice crit for using it.

Duke Anax1 votes

not only Kayle, it has a simmilar effects on Teemo, and AP Varus. Pretty much anyone that has an enhanced auto attack .

As for ADC, I think it's core on Twitch, that true damage stacking is worth the sacrifice.

It also benefits anyone that builds on hit effects, like Nashor's, Wit's or even BoRK.

if you MUST get hurricane, about the best build would be something like item 3085 item 3115 item 3100 item 3089 item 3135 item 3020

but there's no way that's goign to work out very well for you. way too squishy way too low range
