Riot, Let's talk Bard.

Well, it's been about 2 weeks since your last champion Bard has released. Congrats to that.

We understand full and well that Bard is a utility-based Support that doesn't come up to par onto the other abilities that supports have (healing, grabbing, sustain, etc).

This brings up the common question amongst many low-elo teams, why pick Bard when you can pick other great (or maybe just better) supports such as Thresh Blitzcrank Sona Braum Zilean Soraka Karma ?

They can surprisingly 1 v 1 other champs, ever seen a Bard 1 v 1 on your team and not get decimated?

I've regrettably purchased the Bard Bundle (includes the Elderwood Skin) and played Bard, I was doing fine the first 3 games with my friends on Curse, then things turned for the worse.

Playing matches with randoms was aweful, after a few games, it came to my attention that Bard was a champion that is ***very dependent on heavy communication (not just text or pings, but voice such as Skype or Curse) *** and that he was very much too team dependent to use any of his abilities. (and I mean team, not just your ADC in lane).

Riot's balance team has noticed this and simply buffed his Q and shortened some cooldowns, however, this doesn't change the fact that he is still heavily team-dependent.

It's reached a point where I just don't play Bard anymore and silently regret purchasing the Bard bundle that I'd be prefectly okay If Riot just deleted him altogether and just refunded everyone's RP/IP.

Seeing as that isn't possible, they should just rework him to be a bit more self-reliant or at least not requiring a whole team on curse and your entire team with you.

I actually threw bard as my main support now because I rarely play support. But I find with good rotation knowledge that I've been able to play him really well. He is borderline broken and gated by lack of knowledge thankfully.
