[Rant] Our current balance is absolute garbage

I'm just gonna write a list of what I hate about our balance right now. You may agree or disagree with some of it. No matter what it is, it's my opinion on why our balance has gone from bad to worse over the course of season 7.

1.) ADCs are the only class allowed to be strong for extended periods of times:

Straight to the point. Draven was a problem for ages before he got nerfs. Tristana and Twitch are pretty much pick or ban. Give them back the mage and assassin threat to keep them in check or do something else. Just stop this.

2.) Riot's double standards when it comes to items:

"We had to nerf Bramble Vest because people were just sitting on it for a long time." Tanks/Bruisers get an item they can sit on to reliably negate someone in lane and it gets nerfed asap. Hexdrinker exists for well over a season and guess what. People are still sitting on it, they are still not finishing Maw and it's **still **not a problem when they do it.

3.) Games are too short:

Not a single one hits 30 minutes. And most of them are probably already decided after 10! Up until Masters it gets shorter and shorter simply because people learn how to close out games step by step.

Riot. I don't give a flying F if you want the LCS to be shorter. You are trying to enforce short games overall which simply isn't fun for a huge number of players. If they don't have fun in your game how can you expect them to watch the LCS? (and this is crucial to why a lot of people don't bother watching any more. If the game's not fun why bother watching that painfull experience as a viewer?)

Here's one question to you Riot: Would you rather watch a 50 minute nailbiter or a 25 minute stomp? My answer: A 25 minute game can't be a nailbiter and enforcing those short games just accomplishes the oposite of what you wanted to have happen. It's painfull to watch.

4.) You finally need to give supports the attractiveness they need to get more people to play it.

More champions like Rakan, less champions like Tahm Kench. Let the supports be the playmaker instead of the ADCs/APCs nanny. DON'T buff their items, because you're not buffing supports, you're indirectly buffing ADCs that way.

This season was the most stale power wise, but I have to give credit where credit is due. It also was the most diverse in championpicks. Nearly every champion was at least semi-viable once this season.

I think number 3 is outdated

Some of us like short games. 1 hr matches are the reason i stopped playing dota 2

Riot knows, that longer game is equal to more chances of comebacks. But they don't want to do this because they want to encourage people to afk (when players realize that they lost hard at champ select).

Wait whats wrong with tahn kench.

I loved him. Before he was dumpstered that is.

He was a perfect balance of tanky, dealt good damage, had great peel and required you to be attacking to get good use of him thus punishing laziness.

Seems like great things for a support to have.
