How accurate is OP.GG?

I am 3/5 of the way through my ranked placements, and have a 2 W 4 L record. I checked OP.GG and it calculated that i will be placed in silver 4. Is this accurate? My friend told me and i have heard from other places as well that placements are around silver 3, so is this a good sign or bad?

btw i sort of messed up by playing two games of Tryndamere , a champion that i was decent at in normals but was awful once i got to ranked. I am currently playing support TahmKench, so i have to rely on teammates to carry me.

No site is accurate, it's only an estimation which isn't too off usually.

Is it your 1st time placing in ranked?

Yes, that is accurate, if you are not placed there it is because you didnt refresh enough times to you got an earlier mmr than your last OR you will be placed lower but recieve more LP than you lose, but if you get bronze you usually jsut get 20 lp and lose 20 lp and stay that elo.

i thought placements are 10 games ? and u have 2 and 4 record putting you at a 33% win rate... if you win your remaining games i say silver 5/4 if you go even 5 and 5 or worst bronze 2/1

It really depends on what elo you are playing against in your placements. If you are playing silvers I have seen people go 2-8 and get silver 5 so I'd believe it is accurate at the moment.
