What do you do as Support when you know you can't carry your adc, and jungle completely ignores bot?

Played a game earlier, I was Leona, my ADC was Ashe. We were up against a Trist/Karma. They were going all in Ashe early, so I e'd to Trist to root her, stunned her and almost had her dead (but I was almost dead and so was ashe). Ashe flashes in and misses Trist with her spreadshot, at point blank range. So at that point, I knew we were in trouble. I ask for help from our jungle gragas, saying we've got an aggressive lane and need help. No help comes. Ashe keeps getting out of position, and I try to peel the best I can, but she keeps feeding. Again I plead for help from our jungle, no help comes. At this point shes 3 0 3. I've only died to her once, because I'm trying to play safe while still protecting the feeding ashe, but it goes further downhill and I start dying. By this point our tower is almost gone this time I literally BEG for help from jg, he still ignores us. One more push with help from their fed cho'gath, and down goes 2 of our towers still no help. At this point I try to roam to support our fed lucian, but he wasn't paying attention and tries 1v1 the fed as hell tristana and gets hammered, and it goes WAAAAAAAAY downhill from there. My question is what should I have done?

I asked for help multiple times until it became begging, and I couldn't very well say Ashe sucks I really need some help down here or i'd be toxic, and I don't want to be. I just don't know how I could have helped my team win that one. When did team up with lucian against those that weren't fed as hell we did great, but once trist or cho showed up, we were doomed.

  1. Gank mid and ward mid. Don't completely leave you adc though. Roam only when you have the time.

  2. Lose game.

You got two choices. Huehuehue.

You can carry ignorant. You can't carry stupid.

It's really tough but you gotta see if you can at least hold the lane long enough for the teamfight phase to start, and tell your ADC to basically never leave tower.

I've had some games where my ADC was behind (more or less just sucked) but I'd force the enemy to come to us and make plays under our tower. Most supps are good there, CC tf outta whichever one you're more likely to get a kill on, exhaust the enemy adc if you have to. And if you REALLY need to just take the kills, but that's a "My ADC can't last-hit even if I set up the kill and leave the enemy stun-locked for a year" scenario.

No jungle assistance, maybe ask the mid laner? Get some wards in the brush for a tp play? Or just roam yourself, as a supp. Something I like to do is roam mid after first back. Not exactly something most mid laners will expect.

You just gotta find a way to get the most outta your game. Get what vision you can to keep your jungler and mid laner safe, and roam if it's a good idea.

Yeah that "My ADC can't last-hit even if I set up the kill and leave the enemy stun-locked for a year" scenario was the one I was dealing with. I knew it about 2 min into the game watching her play (trist had double her cs for pretty much the entire game) I wanted to take the kills, but leona is CC machine, not a damage machine so I really couldn't take the kills because that would require some help from ashe before she got melted, and that wasn't happening. I did ward for TP plays, but Galio didn't ult or teleport down to help. And while our jungler (gragas) did have kills, but he loved to towerdive when it was a reaaaaaally bad idea so keeping him safe just wasn't a thing. As for warding I did what I could in the beginning, but by about 15 min or so trist and cho were so fed it was pretty dangerous and I died most of the times I attempted it.

I guess what I should ask is how do you roam early without your team freaking out and reporting you for it, even though you know its your only hope of winning?

Hate to say it but only time they wont complain if you get something out of it other then that theyll complain. And they have to be the one to get the kill out of it because then theyll flame you for stealing their kill even if theyre halfway across the lane and low hp.

I'm just not that kinda guy. And it was a ranked game so it wasn't like it was just a norm, ff move on kinda deal.

if you are gonna lose and the game is already a lost

it dont matter how much you lose by you still lose the same amount of LP...

sometimes letting a game go that is clearly a loss is better then dragging it out , putting you on tilt and effecting your next 3-5-10 games cuz of one bad game.

if you ff that game at 20 mins and moved on you could play more games and have more a chance to win instead of playing that lost game for 50 mins and still losing the LP
