Stuck In 'Attempting To Reconnect'

So I'd just teleported back to fountain when the game decided to disconnect for me. I've spent the last half hour stuck waiting for the game to catch up, but I'm still stuck in fountain with an 'attempting to reconnect' message. Unfortunately, I can't leave the client without getting banned, so I still have the window open. Is there any solution I can do that'll fix it without getting my account suspended? I have proof that I didn't just DC to ruin the game for anyone.
