The Enemy Team Is More Likely To Get A Feeder Than Yours

Think about it. Let's say that you're playing ranked in high silver, but have the skillset of a moderate gold player. You'll win your lane almost every game, and you only have to worry about the other four players feeding. Meanwhile, the enemy team has five random players, any or all of whom can be a feeder. Statistically speaking, you only have four chances for a feeder compared to their five. You're literally 25% more likely to be fighting a feeder than fighting with one.

All that really matters is that you're not one of those feeders, and you'll climb. So stop worrying!

Not really because if a lot of your teams MMR is based in you then you are highly likely to have a feeder on your team because they will be lower mmr than their lane opponent. If more MMR is based in your teammates than yourself, and you dont feed you are way more likely to win though.

well ya that'd be true if 100% of ranked games didn't have feeders/trolls

So true. 1st time I got to Gold, I abused this very fact. My main goal every game was to not lose lane. Got Gold easily in around 200 games. By never being a feeder, I gave myself a statistical advantage.
