Why do we have to buy extra rune pages instead of being able to create more?

I'm a bit irritated that we aren't able to make rune pages, but we're supposed to buy them. I get that Riot needs some extra money but having to buy more rune pages with literally 6.3k blue essence, the same amount needed to buy the second most expensive champions. Rune pages aren't worth as much as champions, but removing their cost OR just lowering it would be a nice change so that we wouldn't have to grind for everything.

now they're even worth more i have 10 pages and i just use the same one because i make them on the fly

Hey Lucra,

I bought 2 rune pages when the new season started, and I have spent a lot of time (and gotten really good at) creating rune pages on the fly. My suggestion to you is to not worry about buying rune pages and just get good at making changes to a couple of blanket rune pages for certain roles that you can make a few quick changes too.

Yeah i understand your irritation. when i first started using the new system i hated only having one page but with something like 6 preset pages that you cant change. you get used to making them fairly quickly but that's beside the point. I feel like they have gotten greedier since the new update and I hope they change their mindset

Runes reforged is why people are leaving LEAGUE just like the old rune system is why people loved league.
