Can you please add a counter to poke
Enemy chooses Fiddlesticks or Jayce
Whole match is automatically just absolute torture and no fun whatsoever

I mean, the counter to poke (as a playstyle) outside of any items, is simply hard engage; things like Leona, Malphite. Gnar (mega form).
Poke is frustrating because it lets the enemy damage you, without a way to return damage, the moment you can return damage though the strategy sort of falls apart (unless they can disengage again before they die)
Edit: Sustain also really helps with poke, since it renders it useless.
In which completely depends which character you are playing.
And half the characters in the game can't do that.
Well, that's what the term counterpicking refers to. If the enemy picks heavy poke champions you need heavy engagement champions or heavy sustain champions to do well against them. If you didn't bring the right tools for the job that's your own fault.

Thats sort of why the whole TSM / Gravity situation went the way it did though, if the enemy plays a certain teamcomp, its probably wise to have something that can counter it (unless the difference in your skill levels is so vast it won't matter what you play), in that case TSM didn't (all AD comp VS a team who can easily peel for its backliners and render your splitpushing useless)
TSM had better things they could've chosen to help them, but they chose not to use them (for whatever reason).

Counterpicking is an important part of the game. A full engage comp is no fun for a sustain comp either but that's my fault for picking Sona into Leona.
asks for counters proceeds to bitch about every counter listed
Sure.

There you go.
Not a fucking character.
You asked for a counter, you didn't specify what kind of counter.
If you don't want a champion counter, your next bet is defensive items.
Smartest thing I have ever heard. Always remember to go full defense Veigar. It's official, best new meta.
I said defensive items, not a full tank build.
But, already knowing your attention span, it's not worth wasting my time explaining it.
Then what do you want?

Dude, everything is a counter to poke.
Most poke is skillshot-based complete with a travel time and no lock-on targeting, so listing lazily to the left allows you to evade it completely in almost every circumstance. If that isn't the case - poke tends to fall into "stand behind minions" or "stand away from minions" variations. Vs. Ashe's Volley, Nidalee's Spear, Blitzcrank's grab, you stand behind minions so you don't get hit. Vs. Fiddle Crows, Ryze Bounces, Katarina Blades, Brand Pillars, orianna blasts - you stay away from minions so they have to choose between sacrificing CS/wave-control or poking you down.
Healing, life steal, spell vamp, HP/5, potions, health relics, and anything else Spirit Visage's passive boosts also counters poke. They hit you, you regenerate the health before you get hit again.
Well-timed shields also counter poke, as well as persistent shields such as those offered by

And pretty much every champion in LoL falls into a poke or ham strategy depending on the circumstances. If you can out-range someone, they will almost cirtainly be able to out-ham you and vice-versa. In a face-tank war
looses to
who looses to
who looses to
who looses to
.
If you're outranged, your goal is to hard-engage, beating the stuffing out of your longer-ranged foes until they're no more. That's how to kill Teemo as a melee 101. You don't do cutsy trades where you smack each other once and back off. You smack him as many times as you're able when you go in for a trade.
