Auto assign Smite for junglers

So i just played a game, i forgot smite. It's been a while since it happened but i figured it'd be alright after lvl 3 or something.

I always used to just struggle a bit early on but was able to clear, slowly but i was able to. This time however i didn't get lvl 2 from leash and couldn't even 1v1 the blue buff.

Leveling up was just a downright nightmare, the item honestly is much more important than smite itself (atleast for the player themself).

If you're gonna make it mandatory, then don't allow this shit to happen. I realize i'm completely at blame for forgetting it, but it's still stupid i had absolutely 0 chances this game just cuz i fucked up 1 spell.

Some people - believe it or not - don't want to take smite.

While the struggle is real, I feel this scenario would be more a fault on you. Draft, there should no excuse; you had the time. Blind, almost the same thing especially if you're one to gungho role call as if you're in a draft.

The only way I'd ever see Riot implementing a hand-holder like that is in Draft where a summoner spell would be Smite by default for Jungle role assignment. Even then, Unsealed Spellbook is a thing.
