Merge NA and EU boards.

Let's be real for a second The eu boards aren't worth shit.

There's no activity there compared to the NA boards. And even these boards are honestly not that big. Look at reddit, they have a huge community and i believe part of the reason is that they aren't region locked.

I think merging these boards and any other western boards for that matter would make the place better. For both the boards and riot. We'd have more rioters to potentially answer questions and riot has less boards to check for feedback (wether they do or not isn't part of the discussion so drop it).

I see no benefit to keeping up multiple boards.

Edit: Maybe OCE too?

Last I heard (at least a year ago now), these Beta Boards are no longer being officially maintained / considered for upgrades...is this still the case?

I am referring to the lack of basic functions such as a Move-option for moderators and a decent search-function - a forum with a language search, and an AND, OR or ALL search word-option is expected from a multi-Million Dollar company.

I can understand no PM-option (server storage for PMs for Millions of users and all that), but not so much the region restrictions regarding a combined Board. With proper infrastructure and some decent coders (they do have that, right?), merging the Boards shouldn't be too difficult.

Mobile support has gotten better in the past year with the addition of formatting options. Then again, that's front end functionality that could probably be changed by Wuks and ... whoever the other guy is.

I do agree that the Boards are still in Beta, with a lot of features working at "good enough to say it works 90% of the time" (notable exception for Search, which works 5% of the time if you're being generous).

I would just be interested more on a whole rework of the boards... again. Other places like Reddit are more popular than the official forums and that's just sad.

But lets admit, it has a bit to do with attitude of the mods. Over-zealous is an understatement. That puts people off so they go elsewhere.

Same happened to the Guild Wars 2 forum, but their mods are x10 worse. (seriously they ban you for breathing)

Hop on the Europe server and they'll bash you in different languages constantly, will tell you to kill yourselves for being a different culture, swearing is everywhere, and I see racism more as well.

I called you dumb, you said people on my region go full psycho. I'd say you're more toxic in this situation.

This is an online game, not everyone is gonna be nice to you. No KYS is not a trigger word for the system in EU like it is in NA, but if you keep using it you're gonna get banned.

And while what you probably referred to isn't technically racism (as it's based on country not race), it's really not as bad as you make it out to be. It's mainly towards frenchies. Ya know something i've heard happens in NA with french canadian players. And something you are displaying towards european players at this very moment.

Most of us already use the NA boards. all that would change is that the small minority that doesn't comes over and adds their POV to discussions. The same goes for OCE who should probably be added too.

I pointed out the multiple negative experiences I've had on that server, I'm sorry that tilts you so much, but it happens constantly. These are common complaints. Until both servers live up to the same standards, they shouldn't merge.

I've already seen two comments from European players saying it's mainly the French who cause problems, yet that's acceptable? vs me saying it's a toxic environment for happening in general. You do seem very aware that cultural fights are a common occurrence though.

You could have been the bigger person, but instead, you chose to lash out. Your first reaction was to become toxic over something you didn't like. Didn't really paint a good counter-argument.

I didn't know you permanently played on the EU server cuz idk how else you're seeing that shit more than i am. Which is barely.

The french are know for answering "TG" at about everything and even that i haven't seen in a while. I used to see it more but these days it's barely even there anymore.

Think of it this way. We're the smallest server. So we have a smaller community from the get go and will be less prominent on NA for the same reason.

Also EUW has the largest playerbase. You know im just speculating but maybe the reason EUW boards is dead is because you all just migrate over here. Riot should just lock the boards up.

EU players aren't restricted to using the EU Boards. The separation is only an illusion.

Look at that next to my name. I'm fairly confident than some people recognize my name by now on these Boards despite me being an EU player. I'll never transfer to NA but i will never go back to the EU Boards.

Merging them wouldn't accomplish much in my opinion. For what it's worth, that is like putting EUNE and EUW together. Nothing would change, except Bronze and Silver would get somewhat bigger.

If most English speakers ditch the English EUW boards for the much more active NA boards isn't that already the case? Unless the difference in attention the NA boards gets over the EU boards has been greatly exaggerated. English speakers that want a forum just come to NA and if you can't speak English then you're left in the Stagnant EU boards.

So what? What does your opinion on what the EU Boards have anything to do with the fact that non-English speakers have more of a presence there? What's your point? That you don't like it so they should be forced into learning English or lose any semblance of relevancy? The English Boards are sometimes used by people who natively don't speak English but want to giveit a shot and perhaps get some more attention.

It's stupid and the Boards don't require this change.

I don't have an opinion on the EU boards. I'm simply going off the most common info I've read about them which makes them sound like a stagnant place. I've also noticed that as time goes on there are more EUW and EUNE accounts popping into the NA forums.

My concern is that if all the English speakers come over to the NA boards because they're "better" then isn't that just as alienating to non English speakers?
