What if they pulled a Lucian on us with Zed?

So we're all either amused or outraged by the 5.1 Zed notes. However, it got me thinking: this has happened before with another oppressive champion: Lucian. They nerfed his W (oh noes!), made him even stronger with a balancing rework and finally gutted him. What if Riot does the exact same thing with Zed? It would be hilarious: Nerf his shadow slash. "Balance" him by giving him lower base AD or something similarly insignificant. Make up for it by reducing the CD on his Passive, Q,W,E or R every time some arbitrary ability connects. And finally they completely gut shadow slash damage and increase his ult CD. Zed would boil so many noodles~

Riots tactic seems to be if the champion is OP then you will buy it. That's why every new champion that comes out isn't nerfed for at least 2 weeks. Notice how no skins are coming out for Sivir Kennen Lux because nobody every plays them anymore. (inb4 someone says "I do play those champions!"). You are one of the few that do. Before they gut zed they will come out with a new skin because with the AP Carry nerfs, AD mids will be more viable and Zed is one of those champs. Everyone always falls for the new champion release with skins. People even bought the purple Zac skin.... Now where is zac? After months and months of waiting he is finally buffed. (New skin for Zac incoming)

Sivir is being played in Korea :< Don't know wether they'll actually make a skin for Zed, he's perma banned right now. And Zed doesn't see much pro play because of how snow ball reliant he is. I doubt a skin would pay off that well.
