To everyone that complains about lethality.

magic pen is just as strong as lethality so why does armor pen get so much shit but magic pen doesn't?, let do some calculations

Assume that a level 18 champion has 200 armor And I'm playing talon for example, and I have 3 lethality items, and LDR first flat pen before lethality so 200x35%=70 So the champ has 200-70=130 armor now and each lethality item gives 18 lethality 18x3=54 130-54=76

Now let's do this with magic pen

Assume that a level 18 champion has 200 MR And I'm playing Zoe for example and I have sorc shoes, void staff, morellos first flat pen before magic pen 200x40%=80 so the champ has 200-80=120 MR now morellos has 15 magic pen so 120-15=105 and sorc shoes gives 18 magic pen 105-18=87

Now you are probably like SEE LETHALITY GIVES MORE DELETE but you have to take 3 things into consideration.

1- it took 4 items for the ad champ to bring the other champ to 76 armor, meanwhile that it took the ap champ 3 items,

2-lets be realistic here, in most of you games the enemy team will have more armor than Mr

3- I'm not counting sudden impact into the equation

If you want to have a meaningful discussion in the comments I do not mind at all.

Assassins aren't a very healthy concept to begin with, and historically have been over promoted. Other classes have to sacrifice strengths that "aren't fun for assassins to play against." But any complaint about assassins not being fun to play against was comepltey invalid until the assassin rework. Yeah, we got the assassin rework. After almost two years of needing literally anything to make the game fun for people who play any other class of champions. Yes, the Assassin rework was bad. You don't fix unhealthy changes by stacking even more unhealthy changes on top of it. But Assassin mains brought it on themselves, if they just admited the assassin meta was unhealthy and that Riot should have at least partially reverted Turret, Armor, and Mana nerfs it never would have happened in the first place.

Blame is just being extended from Assassins to Lethality. On a side note, Even if Lethality itself is fine, It just shouldn't be in Items and runes. Lethality has this horrible, obnoxious way of making non Assassins become Assassins, and completely overrides that champions previous playstyle. JarvanIV

I understand and totally agree with what you are saying thank you for responding to my post in a good instead of just hating on me for defending lethality

mages are better at dealing with higher mr targets due to liandries and void staff if needed while assassins can murder people who dont normally build alot of armor such as mages adcs and other assassins, redo your math with 60 armor and 60 mr or 100

One is main item of,assassin builds. Other is a 5th-6th item on certain champs.

Lethality itself isn't the problem, items like Duskblade or Stormrazor on assassins are.
