You must be new to the boards. Riot obviously wants us to hate their game so they can’t make money. Also, they are greedy money grubbers.

Actually, they just forgot to fix the tool tip.

You still get 80 and 40.

The tool tips which are manually edited just werent fixed since the change was last minute and they missed it.

If that's the case, that's a bug/mistake. The hydra changes shouldn't have shipped with the patch.

Yeah, it was a mistake with something they forgot to pull out of the PBE changes.

Both hydras were supposed to have their AD decreased by 10, which they cancelled alongside the other bruiser item changes. But there are other things going alongside:

Titanic was supposed to have its build path changed to Tiamat + Giant's Belt
The path wasn't changed, meaning that now upgrading into Titanic makes you lose AD
Ravenous Hydra was supposed to have its build path changed to Tiamat + Scepter + LSword
The path wasn't changed either, without AD loss this time
Titanic Hydra doesn't show up in the items built from Jaurim's fist, but builds from one
Ravenous Hydra doesn't show up in the items built from Pickaxe, but builds from one
Titanic Hydra shows up in the items built from Giant's Belt, but doesn't build from one
Ravenous Hydra shows up in the items built from Long Sword, but doesn't build from one
The items sets were updated to the new stats and paths.

Easy enough to check. Go into Practice Tool with no items, then buy one of them and watch your AD change.

I checked...it is just a tooltip bug and I seem to recall Riot stating somewhere that the tooltips would be off due to the last minute bruiser item changes getting pulled.

Although this will probably not have that great an impact.

Well the biggest winners still seem to be assassins in the end though.

the wiki says hydra still has 80 AD and it's known to be kept up to date with patch notes, this shit was never in the patch notes.

Is the price lower? Riot talked about lowering the Hydra AD and price because fighters were to have more items available with the update, reducing their need to powerspike at one item.

Its a bug actually, you get 10 more ad then listed because when the changes were undone last minute they forgot to revert the tooltip.

That's fucked. No clarity. But nerfing damage portion of most items is welcomed. Just maybe focus on assassin items for a bit****

I never had an issue with assassins, they can one shot people, but they are also incredibly squishy and easy to erase, one CC and they vanish. their meta is supposed to be a high risk high reward. favoring skilled outplays and jukes for their kills.
