If I'm not the one of the 150 LCS players I feel like Riot doesn't give a damn about me

See title. Ever since ardent censer, Zoe, and other cancers that have been coming up recently like the Baron changes I feel like Riot doesn't care about me at all.

Literally every mid laner can one shot you, and it's just great that I keep seeing nerfs to Azir and Ryze because they're broken in competitive just so us lower ELO plebeians have to have diamond level mechanics to play them at a silver level.

I'd love to play top lane but looks like they're nerfing teleport because it's just too damn strong in the LCS. Way to nerf already the weakest role in the game because I guess teleporting bot and killing their oh so special adc is too much.

They're not even trying to hide their bias for ADCs anymore lmao. Kog gets nerfed, buffs next patch. Champs like Viktor get placebo buffs after being garbage for a year.

They just release rune changes and new champs to keep us interested for a long enough time so we don't realize they don't actually care about us.

This kinda turned into a rant, and I'm sorry for that. My patience for Riot's stupidity is waning.

Edit: I'm not saying we should balance the game around low ELO. I think the game should be balanced around better players, but every change lately has been catered towards the LCS. There's a difference between balancing at low ELO and balancing with players who aren't in the LCS.

I honestly think the game should be balanced around that level personally. Balancing around low elo just leads to people QQing rather then actually improving. Hell, they don't even only balance around LCS, the fact that there are several champions that are still weak because they pubstomp low elo too hard showcases that.

Edit: if not LCS level, at the very least high Diamond 1 to Challenger, the players who actually know how to play the game best.

Most toplaners in LCS aren#t happy about the state of top and say that top is the least influencial role aswell...I also doubt that most LCS players are happy with Riots bias for ADC. It's not like all those changes are great for LCS, most of their changes in the past few years where just overall bad. And for champ balance like Azir, i'm perfectly fine with them balanceing those champs around their best use case. Riot's approach on such things is pretty good imo, they balance champs roughtly for plat+. which is fine, and they adress outliners that are outright broken in other elos at the cost of them evt beeing pretty bad in other elos. Actully, i wish they would gut some more broken shit that fuck over high elo, like Gp or Zac...they are about as broken as Azir and zoe were. And that's not a LCS specific thing. Azir in high elo was/is totally disgusting, so he was tuned down, just how master yi and darius are still pretty shitty in high elo but are treated carefully because how strong they can be in low Elos. If everything was balanced around LCS as you claim, champs like YI and Garen probably would run amok in low Elos to be just viable in LCS

The balance team CAN do a MUCH better job than they are currently doing; I will give you that. But OP's post is pure hyperbole which leads to a negative sentiment rooted in something that quite literally cannot be true. Look at the rudimentary math behind it: LCS has ~150 players. LoL's player base is in the millions. Without us, the company itself cannot survive in its current form.

Agreed! There's needs to be more patches and major changes to the game to influence solo queue and just normal queue in League. I understand pro play is what makes league go around, but there are millions of players who play league versus the thousand (if that) who play in the pro scene. Really want them to start thinking about nonpro play because I'm really starting to get impatient.

I disagree with you as a general point.

Basketball hoops are 10 feet high. I can't dunk that high. Basketball refs are dicks because they don't lower the hoop.

Okay? So, I won't be able to dunk. Doesn't mean I can't go out and play and have a great time with my own skillset. I'll never be able to do a 360 over my neighbors head dunk. Never. So, I find other ways to win.

The same will ALWAYS be true of any competitive game.

Don't just compare yourself to the best. Find ways to be your best. You'll have a lot more fun.

Zoe is strongest in pro play/high elo because of her pressure and wave clear tho, low elo players that complain about her just dont like getting oneshot tbh

Riot removing teleport has to possibility of being good. I say this as someone who pretty much exclusively plays top. It makes it harder to respond to split push pressure which could indirectly buff toplanes actual impact in the game.

People need to realize that even if they do balance around silver elo for example the pros will always find the best champs to play and thus never will solve the problem. How about they balance around LCS so that we have to work to get as good as them and then there is the skill curve for us as the players. But instead riot balances around both elo's the best they can and still get flack for it.
